Watch out, the Yamaha's are running amok. John gets to try out his new RMAX on this trip to Bundy Hill Off Road in Jerome, Michigan. Everyone seems to get stuck at one time or another except Wayne. Of course he has to let us know just how impressive his driving skills are. And, don't get caught with your pants down in the porta-john; you never know who may be lurking around. One of the cool things about Bundy Hill is that it isn't just for side by sides. We saw a great number of motorcycles, jeeps, and pickup trucks, too. It also has a great variety of trails, play areas, and a straightaway to test out your racing skills. You can't beat Tecumseh Trails in the spring. There's a nice mix of muddy trails and great sunny days. We spent the weekend camping at Begley's ATV Campground. It gave us access to Tecumseh Trails by way of just a little riding along the roadway. Just ask the camp hosts for the best route. For those wishing to ride Wayne National Forest, there's direct access from the campground. We didn't make it there this go around, but we'll definitely be going back! Finally! Part 3 of our trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. In this video we visit Bond Falls in Paulding, MI by way of the CR Trail. We also traveled along the Bill Nichols (BN) Trail to get to Krupp’s Mini Mart in Twin Lakes for pasties. A little South of Twin Lakes (and North of Rockland) the trail took us over 2 branches of the Firesteel River on three successive bridges that total nearly 1,300 feet in length, with a maximum clearance over the water of 85 feet. What a view! Of course we had to stop along the way a few time to play in dirt and sand. And, we certainly can't forget the great food at the Curious Pig in Crystals Falls. It was a 10! Join us as we start our trip up through Michigan all the way to Copper Harbor. In this episode, we travel from Ohio to Crystal Falls and Ontonagon. We arrived late at Bewabic State Park where we'd stayed for two nights. It was pouring rain when we arrived, so most of us slept in our trucks. Despite the foul weather, the staff was great to work with, and the facilities were clean. They even allowed us to park our trucks and trailers in the overflow lot for the week while we headed further north. :) https://www.michigan.org/property/bewabic-state-park We spent a day roaming around Crystal Falls. From there we traveled roughly 125 miles to Ontonagon, where we'd rented an airbnb. The home was set up for 16 people, plenty of space for everyone. We didn't have to bring anything except food.
