The Life of the Believer in the Spirit (Romans 8:1-11)
In Romans 8, the Apostle Paul makes a pivotal transition and starts teaching on the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer in Jesus Christ. As Christians, we are to live a Spirit-led life. Paul mentions the Holy Spirit 20 times in Romans 8. This chapter is important for us to understand the person and work of the Holy Spirit.

The Law and the Believer- Part 2 (Romans 7)
In Part 2 of the Law and the Believer, Pastor Brad again reviews the core definitions of propitiation, redemption, justification, and sanctification. He covers the three types of sanctification and then reviews Romans 7:1-6. The purpose of the Old Testament law includes moral, ceremonial, and civil laws. Christians must avoid extreme positions that completely disregard the Old Testament or operate in legalism.

The Law and the Believer- Part 3 (Romans 7)
In Part 3 of The Law and the Believer, Pastor Brad finishes his teaching on Romans 7. This chapter can easily be taken to extremes. On one side, the legalist says you must follow the law (and many additional rules he or she may add); on the other, it introduces antinomianism. This is a belief that Christians are not bound to follow moral laws because we live in an age of Grace. So how, then, are we to live? This video will give direction, as explained in Romans 7.

Introduction to Romans- Part 2 (Romans 1:1-7)
We continue the introduction of Romans by looking at the Apostle Paul, the church in Rome, and why he wrote this letter. Paul defines himself as a slave to Christ. In the letter, he teaches the Gospel. This letter teaches Christians how to live in Christ. Romans defines the Gospel of Grace. He affirms Jesus as God's Son, yet he comes to us as fully man. He is Jesus Messiah—the Lord. We, as believers, are given the title "Beloved of God."

Not Ashamed of the Good News of the Gospel (Romans 1:8-13)
Pastor Brad continues in Romans, noting that Paul is thankful for the Roman church and has heard about their faithfulness. He encourages them in this passage. Paul prays for them, and we, as Christians, should pray for one another. He was concerned about the church's well-being. Like Paul, we should encourage our fellow believers.

Principles of God's Judgement- Part 1 (Romans 2:1-5)
In this Romans passage (Romans 2:1-5), Paul asks, “Do you suppose you will escape God’s judgment?” We are recipients of God's love, as is all the world. We should be humble, praise God, and share the truth of God as revealed in the Bible.

When God Abandons Society- Part 1 (Romans 1:18-32)
In Romans, the Apostle Paul warns what will happen to a society that rejects God. A demonically driven malady will infect a society when it abandons God's very natural principles. Paul witnessed this in Rome, and we are witnessing this today in the United States. Pastor Brad reviews how God's wrath presents itself, including abandoning society to its sinful desires.

When God Abandons Society- Part 2 (Romans 1:18-32)
In Part 2 of When God Abandons Society, Pastor Brad reviews that God’s wrath is real, and there comes a point in a person's or society's life when they refuse to repent and put their faith in Him, He will leave them to their own folly. He then covers five kinds of wrath in the Bible.

Our Justification Through Christ's Redemption (Romans 3:21-31)
At the end of Chapter 3, Paul explains the law can never justify us, but there is a way to be declared righteous in the eyes of God apart from the law. It is by faith in Jesus Christ. We can be justified (just as if we had not sinned) through God's grace.

The Advantage of Being a Jew- Part 1 (Romans 3:1-20)
If the Jews are not saved by Judaism (which they are not- they are saved through faith in Jesus), then what advantage is it to be a Jew? Pastor Brad reviews Jewish history to clarify that there are many disadvantages (historically) to being a Jew. The Apostle Paul defines one advantage of being a Jew: they were entrusted with the Word of God. And the covenant written about is still good even today. God's covenant with Israel is eternal.
The Jew also demonstrates God's justice. We must trust and obey God from the heart, not as an outward sign (such as circumcision).

Principles of God's Judgement- Part 2 (Romans 2:6-11)
In Romans 2:6-11, the Apostle Paul addresses the role of "works" in a believer's life. All men will face judgment. The unsaved at the Great White Throne for damnation, the saved at the Bema Seat of Christ for rewards. So works are not for salvation but have consequences and will influence eternity. Our works (fruit) also display our faith and the realness of our beliefs.

Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ (Romans 5:12-21)
In this teaching, we review Romans 5:12-21. We examine how, with Adam, one man's fall brought sin into the world. But compared to Jesus Christ. This man, the second Adam, brought salvation into the world by becoming the perfect sacrifice and atonement for all sin to those who believe in Him.
