This is a 50 drawer hardware cabinet restoration project. I take an old, beat up, broken in several places cabinet and restore it into what looks like a brand new cabinet. I then place it on a newly painted metal base which came from another project. The results are stunning.

I took 2 old sewing machine sides, pine boards from a garage sale, an old shelf, and 2 sewing machine drawers and upcycled it into a very unusual one of a kind wall shelf thing. I'm sure you have never seen anything like this.

Vinegar removes rust. But what if you have an odd shape that can't easily be placed into a container. You can build the container around it using some plastic. Fill it with vinegar and let it sit for a couple days. All the rust will be gone. Now you can brush, rinse, and paint.
