Upper Falls is a 110 foot waterfall on the Yellowstone River just upstream from the Famous Lower Falls at the head of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. cutting a -mile long , 1,000 foot deep gash across.

Mutton Busting is an event for children where the competitors try to ride a sheep for eight seconds.

Midway Geyser Basin is small but spectacular. Excelsior Geyser is a 200 x 300 foot crater that constantly discharges more than 4,000 gallons of water per minute into the Firehole River. Grand Prismatic Spring, Yellowstone’s largest hot spring, is 200–330 feet in diameter and more than 121 feet deep.

From an elevation of 6,080 feet at the Grand View Overlook you can see ,La Sal mountains, Colorado Canyon, white rim sandstone, monument basin, Abajo mountains, the needles and many other natural land marks.

The Grand Prismatic is in the Midway Geyser Basin, but not everyone knows how to get to the overlook. you need to go to the fairy falls hiking trail about a mile up the road from the basin! well worth the hike!

This Video was taken at Canyonland's National Park , Moab Utah This past June, This was a short overview but if you would like there is a 2 mile hiking trail, that you can take as well , going down deeper in the canyon.

We were at Crated State Park with the grandsons digging for diamonds, the next day we drove past Dino Dig and thought we would go in and see what it was about. we found a fun cool place to hang out and did for cool stones and even pick up a few fossils.

A quick walk through of The Lake Yellowstone Hotel, It is an elegant get away reminiscent of the 1920s. it is listed on the park's register of Historic Places as the oldest standing Yellowstone hotel.

The lake lodge is one of the hotels built to accommodate visitors to Yellowstone in the late 19th and early 20th century. built in 1891,it is the oldest operating hotel in the park. we were there in May a little to early ,before the lodge was ready to open . but we took a sneak peak.

We were in Yellowstone for about 5 weeks in May and June, One of the best places to catch a glimpse of Yellowstone's wildlife is Hayden Valley. This lush valley north of Yellowstone lake is a highly visited gathering place for ,bison ,elk ,coyotes and grizzly bears. in fact ,Hayden is home to the largest rut of free roaming bison in the world.

The Sulphur Caldron in Yellowstone National Park is one of the park's most acidic hot springs, with yellow and turbulent waters reminding one of an evil witches' Caldron.

Gibbon Falls is a waterfall on the Gibbon River in northwestern Yellowstone National Park. Gibbon Falls has a drop of approximately 84 feet. The falls are located roadside,4.7 miles upstream from the confluence of the Gibbon and the Firehole Rivers at Madison Junction on the Grand Loop Road.

We had been gone for about 2 months, thought I would open up and check on the the condition of the bee's and the honey production. Glad to see they are doing great, growing the number of bee's in the hive and producing lots of delicious honey!

This is a video we took on the way back from the Lamar Valley, Saturday June 11th that night we had all the flooding start. The creeks were high from rain and melting snow, I am glad we came down from the valley when we did, later that night the whole highway was closed down.

I just got a new Go Pro 9 camera and thought I would see how well it would video a short ride on the mini Bike.

The Crazy Horse Memorial is a mountain monument under construction on privately held land in the Black Hills, in Custer County, South Dakota, United States. It will depict the Oglala Lakota warrior, Crazy Horse, riding a horse and pointing to his tribal land.

During our visit to the Badlands we took so many pictures . I couldn't even share them all. I was fascinated with the whole place, every time you look in a different direction you see something new. If you have never been to South Dakota I would strongly recommend taking the time and go see as much of it as you can! During our visit to the Badlands we stopped in the fossil exhibition and Ben Reifel Visitor center that is where they prepare the fossils found in the park for public viewing, well worth the trip!
