P.S. In the years from the early 1990's to the late 1990's, downtown West Palm Beach, Florida was a kind-of canvas. Bicycling around and starting or participating in a variety of projects served as a way to connect the dots of unique people and places. Some of these projects:
the FLO - 'zine featuring people & places of WPB, FL
The Refuge - Christian-themed coffeehouse in the west bay of the Unarmed Underground Art Centre aka "the hut" where I had a studio
Cinema Refuse' - video screenings at Speakeasy's on Clematis Street
The West Palm Beach Independent Film Festival - movies
FLO (Flying Low On the radar) Film Fest - movies, Atari 2600 games, Pop Tarts

Philosophy Night (ran monthly, from 1995 through 1996) at The Wormhole, in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida, was a live, all-ages talk show that featured speakers (or a speaker) discussing a topic, followed by questions-and-answers.
How did Philosophy Night start?
It was started as a way for people to get their opinions heard, both on the stage as a speaker and in the audience, during the question-and-answer followup. Originally, if I remember correctly, I was talking with my Mom, Grace Kemp, and she mentioned in London, England there's a place where people go to give public talks. Then, we discussed organizing something similar at a venue in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. This was in the mid-1990's, before cell phones flooded the market, and people were more apt to participate in gatherings like this, as a way to connect and experience with others. Thankfully, The Wormhole, a thrift store, live music venue, book & magazine and 'zine space, allowed us to use their venue free-of-charge.

Recently, I discovered the videos, in a variety of formats (VHS and 8mm video cassette, on a shelf at my Mom's place. Then, I set forth on the somewhat complicated mission to digitize them buying used VCR's on Ebay, and other video camera gear on Ebay and Facebook marketplace, and watching or perusing videos on how to transfer them to digital format. A lot of work.
