Pipe welding technology so beautiful | Pipe welding discover
Pipe welding technology so beautiful:
Pipe welding technology is a complex technique that requires a lot of experience for the craftsmen to get beautiful and durable welds.
Many distinct factors influence the strength of welds and the material around them, including the welding method, the amount and concentration of energy input, the weldability of the base material, filler material, and flux material, the design of the joint, and the interactions between all these factors. Types of welding defects include cracks, distortion, gas inclusions (porosity), non-metallic inclusions, lack of fusion, incomplete penetration, lamellar tearing, and undercutting.

Large trees are crushed easily - Large capacity wood chippers
Large trees are crushed easily - wood chippers:
Large woodchippers frequently are equipped with grooved rollers in the throat of their feed funnels. Once a branch has been gripped by the rollers, the rollers transport the branch to the chipping blades at a steady rate. These rollers are a safety feature and are generally reversible for situations where a branch gets caught on clothing.

Discover exotic manufacturing methods | Creativity is infinite
Discover exotic manufacturing methods:
A formed block is mounted in the drive section of a lathe. A pre-sized metal disk is then clamped against the block by a pressure pad, which is attached to the tailstock. The block and workpiece are then rotated together at high speeds. A localized force is then applied to the workpiece to cause it to flow over the block. The force is usually applied via various levered tools. Simple workpieces are just removed from the block, but more complex shapes may require a multi-piece block. Extremely complex shapes can be spun over ice forms, which then melt away after spinning. Because the final diameter of the workpiece is always less than the starting diameter, the workpiece must thicken, elongate radially, or buckle circumferentially.
That's the spinning metal method !!
Thank you, wish you happy and healthy!

Threaded screws are created quickly - Technology solutions
Screw thread, often shortened to thread, is a helical structure used to convert between rotational and linear movement or force. A screw thread is a ridge wrapped around a cylinder or cone in the form of a helix, with the former being called a straight thread and the latter called a tapered thread. A screw thread is the essential feature of the screw as a simple machine and also as a fastener.

Perfect product manufactured on CNC lathe - CNC technology
- Perfect product manufactured on CNC lathe - CNC technology
- CNC lathe machnine:
The advent of the CNC lathe (or more properly, CNC turning center) has blurred these distinct levels of production to some extent. The CNC turning center most appropriately fits in the mid-range of production, replacing the turret lathe. However, it is often possible to produce a single component with a CNC turning center more quickly than can be done with an engine lathe. To some extent too, the CNC turning center has stepped into the region traditionally occupied by the (mechanical) screw machine. CNC screw machines do this to an even greater degree, but they are expensive. In some cases they are vital, yet in others a mechanical machine can match or beat overall performance and profitability. It is not unusual for cam-op automatic lathes to beat CNCs on cycle time. CNC offers many benefits, not least CAD/CAM integration, but the CNC itself usually does not give any inherent speed advantage within the context of an automatic lathe cycle in terms of speeds and feeds or tool-changing speed.

- Plate rolling machine :
The plate roll is a machine tool that can roll different kind of metal sheets from flat into a curved shape that can be round, conical miltiradius, elliptical. It can be also called “Roll bending machine” “plate bending Machine” , “rolling machine”.
When rolling, the Top-Roll presses the metal plate between the two Side-Rolls. The advantage of having the Variable 3 Roll is the ability to roll many thicknesses and diameters of cylinders. For example; The Side-Rolls are what produce the mechanical advantage. With the Side-Rolls all the way open, then you have the maximum mechanical advantage. With the Side-Rolls all the way in, you have the least mechanical advantage. So, your machine has a capability of rolling 2" thick material with the maximum mechanical advantage, but your job is only 1/2" thick. Simply reduce the mechanical advantage and you have a machine that can roll from 1/2" ~ 2" thick.

Monster crushing reinforced concrete - Technology Solutions
Crushing reinforced concrete:
Crushing at the actual construction site using portable crushers reduces construction costs and the pollution generated when compared with transporting material to and from a quarry. Large road-portable plants can crush concrete and asphalt rubble at 600 tons per hour or more. These systems normally consist of a rubble crusher, side discharge conveyor, screening plant, and a return conveyor from the screen to the crusher inlet for reprocessing oversize materials. Compact, self-contained mini-crushers are also available that can handle up to 150 tons per hour and fit into tighter areas. With the advent of crusher attachments - those connected to various construction equipment, such as excavators - the trend towards recycling on-site with smaller volumes of material is growing rapidly. These attachments encompass volumes of 100 tons/hour and less.

Very impressive bending speed | CNC spring making machine
CNC spring making machine
Spring-Coiling Machine
Machine used to produce springs, spring washers, and collar springs from wire and rods. There are both automatic and semiautomatic machines. Helical, cylindrical, conical, and contoured springs are made by either hot or cold coiling on spring-coiling machines.
The major units of a spring-coiling machine include the drive, which is usually electric, the straightening and coiling units, and the pitch and cutting mechanisms. Cold coiling on automatic spring-coiling machines is most commonly found. These machines are characterized by discontinuous wire feed from two or three pairs of rollers driven by a gear sector or engaged by a friction clutch. The springs are cut off when the rollers stop. There are also spring-coiling machines with continuous wire feed in which the springs are cut without stopping the rollers, which results in an increased output.
In addition to its basic mechanisms, a spring-coiling machine may also have various attachments and monitoring and adjustment devices. Spring-coiling machines are used mainly in series and mass production. Automatic spring-coiling machines produce up to 250 springs or 2,200 spring washers per minute.

* Steel wire rope slings
Wire rope is rope made from wire. It consists of several strands of metal wire laid (twisted) into a helix. The term "cable" is often used interchangeably with "wire rope", but narrower senses exist in which "wire rope" refers to diameter larger than 3/8 inch (9.52 mm), whereas sizes smaller than this are designated cable or cords. Initially wrought iron wires were used, but today steel is the main material used for wire ropes.

A sawmill or lumber mill is a facility where logs are cut into lumber. Prior to the invention of the sawmill, boards were rived (split) and planed, or more often sawn by two men with a whipsaw, one above and another in a saw pit below. The earliest known mechanical mill is the Hierapolis sawmill, a Roman water-powered stone mill at Hierapolis, Asia Minor dating back to the 3rd century AD. Other water-powered mills followed and by the 11th century they were widespread in Spain and North Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia, and in the next few centuries, spread across Europe. The circular motion of the wheel was converted to a reciprocating motion at the saw blade. Generally, only the saw was powered, and the logs had to be loaded and moved by hand. An early improvement was the development of a movable carriage, also water powered, to move the log steadily through the saw blade.
By the time of the Industrial Revolution in the 18th century, the circular saw blade had been invented, and with the development of steam power in the 19th century, a much greater degree of mechanisation was possible. Scrap lumber from the mill provided a source of fuel for firing the boiler. The arrival of railroads meant that logs could be transported to mills rather than mills being built besides navigable waterways. By 1900, the largest sawmill in the world was operated by the Atlantic Lumber Company in Georgetown, South Carolina, using logs floated down the Pee Dee River from the Appalachian Mountains. In the 20th century the introduction of electricity and high technology furthered this process, and now most sawmills are massive and expensive facilities in which most aspects of the work is computerized. Besides the sawn timber, use is made of all the by-products including sawdust, bark, wood chips and wood pellets.

Metalwork | Modern technology of steel rolling mill - Technology solutions
Metalwork | Modern technology of steel rolling mill - Technology solutions.
Rolling, in technology, the principal method of forming molten metals, glass, or other substances into shapes that are small in cross-section in comparison with their length, such as bars, sheets, rods, rails, girders, and wires. Rolling is the most widely used method of shaping metals and is particularly important in the manufacture of steel for use in construction and other industries. Rolling may be done while the steel is hot (hot-rolling) or cold (cold-rolling). The process consists of passing the metal between pairs of rollers revolving at the same speed but in opposite directions and spaced so that the distance between them is slightly less than the thickness of the metal. The degree of change that can be made in the thickness of the steel depends on its temperature, with higher heat increasing the plasticity of the steel. Cold-rolling, in which unheated bars, sheets, or strips of steel are sent through the rollers, usually requires several rollings to achieve the desired shape. Cold-rolling often follows hot-rolling and is done to gain better mechanical properties, better machinability, special size, a bright surface, or a thinner gauge than hot-rolling can.

* Things You Might Not Know
* Part 2 video
* Extended information:
- A wind turbine is a device that converts the wind's kinetic energy into electrical power. The term appears to have been adopted from hydroelectric technology (rotary propeller). The technical description of a wind turbine is aerofoil-powered generator.
- As a result of over a millennium of windmill development and modern engineering, today's wind turbines are manufactured in a wide range of vertical and horizontal axis types. The smallest turbines are used for applications such as battery charging for auxiliary power for boats or caravans or to power traffic warning signs. Slightly larger turbines can be used for making contributions to a domestic power supply while selling unused power back to the utility supplier via the electrical grid. Arrays of large turbines, known as wind farms, are becoming an increasingly important source of renewable energy and are used by many countries as part of a strategy to reduce their ...
