BCG is so much more than a small urban homestead in the Desert South West of the USA. Outside these walls there is pain, addiction, prostitution, homelessness, helplessness and a mental health crisis the likes of which this country has never seen. We’re located in one of the worst places known to be notorious in all the Nation for these symptoms. “The Corridor”: a place or position in which especially political power is wielded through discussion and deal-making. The very definition of part of our nick name describes the reason for such carnage in our community. This doesn’t happen by accident. Here we don’t just make more oxygen and sell plants. We give freely a Philosophy of a better way of life and mental wellness through healthy lifestyle changes and suggestions. What can one person do to help? It’s been said that to share your presence and sit in silence with someone broken and in doing so lending your strength to them so they can regain their footing is an act of love.
