CCM Sarasota Promo Videos

The festival brings together acts from all over the world for four days of performance within the theater inside the Ringling Museum.

These interviews were shot in a Tampa hotel following the main presentation. I particularly enjoyed this because we interviewed three people that I respect and admire, Herman Cain, Art Laffer and Niger Innes. Herman was very nice. Art was hysterically funny and smart. Rochelle had never heard of Niger and initially called him "Nigel". He laughed and said that it happened all the time. I knew of Niger, having repeatedly seen him on television including the greatest political round table talk show ever, the now departed "Real News".

This was produced shortly after they relocated from their shared facility in Wesley Chapel to their new digs near Tampa International Airport. Some of the footage was repurposed from the "Elementz Nutrition" promo shot in Wesley Chapel.

This video was created for Nik to use on his website. Although Nik and his family live and work in Sarasota, he also tours with circuses around the globe. I had shot a lot of Nik's performances so this was pulled together from footage shot for other purposes.

Spec promo for a project highlighting Sarasota real estate. The project was soon cancelled because the client couldn't figure out a way to monetize it.

A promo, shot in New York City, for a new company started by former actor and Game On Nation head Steve Shenbaum. What's interesting about this for me is that Blair's audio in her video was absolute rubbish but what she said was so good. So, I had her come to the studio and loop her dialog, which she did in one take. It was an interesting process that I had never done before.

It took three trips to Wesley Chapel to get all of the footage but it was worth it because it was a fun project and I got to meet a bunch of great young baseball and football players. My favorite was CFL player Dan Goodspeed because not only was he great on screen but he was super funny and a great guy. I told both he and Washington National reliever Drew Storen that they were naturals on camera and should look into TV work once they retired from the game. Drew replied that he had an unfair advantage because his dad was a TV sports guy. Special props to Jason Riley, a thoughtful, smart and kind man of God. We became friends and worked together again for his other business.

This is one of four MDA promos I did for them that year. This one actually went viral within the organization at the time. It was fun to do and I was glad that people enjoyed it.

Dealers United is a company that negotiates deals with other companies that market to car dealerships. Those deals, at the time, were negotiated to be the lowest available and then offers them to the Dealers United member dealers. In addition to being a senior executive at Dealers United, he was also the general manager at Sarasota Ford. All of the work was done by me, including the animation and compositing.

Deal of the month for January 2013. I shot the Dealers United people, did all of the effects, compositing and editing. The Dealer Socket people were shot by a third-party team hired for this project.

A 1930s era fishing lodge, known as Thelma, was being moved to the village. And it was no small undertaking. The toughest part was moving it over a canal via a temporary bridge built for that purpose. There was more than a little drama involved as nearly the whole island turned out to watch it happen. 2011

Celebrating the grand opening of the Village Cafe in the old Sears cottage after a complete green makeover. The food was fabulous and got better with the second manager, Rhonda Grote. Unfortunately, when last I checked it had devolved into a convenience store. 2011
