After lots of preparation, the painting is now done. It is nearly road ready. Some finishing touches, and it's ready.

This project is getting close to completion. This will probably be the next to last of these videos. The last will be the finishing of the paint job, and the road test.

Pardon the poor quality. This snippet is being shown as a bit of a brain teaser. No pun intended.

The last video wasn't really complete because I couldn't find the stills in this video. Put those two together and you'll be up to date on the project.

The drive train work is nearly completed. The brake work is nearly completed. The gas tank is ready to install. Gas lines and electrical work is in an advanced stage. She nearly ready to fire up for a test run. This project might be classified is a type of hot rod, the main man says.

There's a lot of work in progress getting everything hooked up and ready to run. Now for the big test. Will it run?

1965 Ranchero gets a lot of replacement parts.

The 1965 Ranchero project continues. After adding the 2016 Mustang engine, there needed to be an alteration in the hood. The new engine sits a bit too tall, so a scoop needed to be cut out of the hood. So the Ranchero will no sport a scoop.

A more elegant solution, as opposed to changing vehicles, is to reset the vehicle via the context menu. That will bring you out of video mode, so you can continue. It is a bit faster and more efficient.

This is a great game, but it has a flaw. You cannot control the functions with the controls the game gives you. But there is a way around the problem. You have to use a trick. More specifically, the problem involves the control over the camera function. There are times when it is useful to manipulate the camera, and then are times when you don't want that function. The problem results when you want to move back and forth between those functions and you can't. The trick mentioned here might be useful in debugging the game program if the owners wanted to do that. It wouldn't be that big of a bug fix.

The latest in a series of videos featuring the creation of a hot rod from late model Mustang parts, which are installed on to a 1965 Ford Ranchero. Pardon the experimentation with my editor. My brother is grease monkeying the hot rod while I monkey around with the video editor.

The third of the series is "tack welded" to the other two. Now instead of 3 videos, there's one. The last video added is a different perspective of the same basic thing. A 2016 Ford Mustang motor is going into a 64 Ford Falcon Ranchero. Alterations necessary--- lots of metal working.

Video five in the series. These are being made as work progresses. Some corrections should be noted--- not a 64, but a 65 Ranchero. Other mistakes by author will be noted as series progresses. The fourth in the series hasn't been uploaded as of this time. The first three are combined into one. In summary, there has been a lot of metal work to make the 2016 Mustang parts fit with the 65 Ranchero. Some assembly required.
