RESUMO HISTÓRICO DA AD/5 O Exército Brasileiro retornou da 2ª Guerra Mundial trazendo a exitosa experiência da Artilharia Divisionária da Força Expedicionária Brasileira, que favoreceu a conquista de alguns dos mais importantes objetivos na Itália, como Monte Castelo e Montese. Essa estrutura seria reproduzida nas mais estratégicas regiões militares do país. Assim, em 19 de junho de 1946, é criado o Comando da Artilharia Divisionária da 5ª Divisão de Infantaria, com sede em Curitiba - PR. Originalmente, a Artilharia Divisionária era integrada pelas seguintes unidades: 3º Regimento de Artilharia Montada (Curitiba-PR), 6º Grupo de Artilharia de Dorso 75 mm (Castro-PR) e 6ª Bateria de Artilharia de Costa (São Francisco do Sul-SC). Até o ano de 1972, a AD/5 sofreu algumas modificações em suas Organizações Militares (OM) subordinadas e, em 1973, após a passagem de seus grupos para as Brigadas do Paraná e de Santa Catarina, a AD/5 ficou composta pela Bateria de Comando da AD/5 (Bia Cmdo AD/5) e o 15º Grupo de Artilharia de Campanha Autopropulsado (15º GAC AP) como Organizações Militares Diretamente Subordinadas (OMDS). Além disso, o 5º GAC AP, o 26º GAC e o 28º GAC passaram a manter vinculação técnica com a AD/5.

Some dangerous situations that almost ended in a motorcycle accident.

The VBTP-MR Guarani is the result of the modernization of the Brazilian Army fleet, which maintains the intellectual property of the armored vehicle. The vehicle has the capacity to transport up to 11 people, weighs 18 tons, has 6X6 traction, and can reach 110 kilometers per hour and has an amphibious function. The continuation of the Guarani strategic project foresees obtaining the 6x6 platform, similar to the one delivered, in a quantity of 60 vehicle-years, which corresponds to the contract with IVECO up to the estimated total of 1,580 vehicles. “Among these vehicles, we have several versions. We are taking this one, which is for the transport of troops, and we have others, which are Command and Control, Communications, Mortar Holders and several that complete the Brigade system, an operational module adopted by the Army, which is able to fight with its own means, ”explained General Edson Henrique Ramires, current project manager for the Army. The partnership with the company started in 2007 and was consolidated in 2013 with the inauguration of the first IVECO Defense Vehicle plant outside Europe

Complete production of the Blindado M113 BR from arrival to delivery, carried out by the Regional Maintenance Park of the 5th Military Region (Pq R Mnt / 5). The Modernization Project, from VBTP M113 B to VBTP M113 BR, is the result of an agreement between the Brazilian Government and the American Government via the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
