RIP Thumper
Thumper was a motorcycle who blew up at 300 miles, 1300 miles, and 13000 miles where I fried the harness and sensors and destroyed her transmission along with her third engine. All in her first year. Dealer wanted to try engine #4 but I decided to lay her to rest. I swapped her for Jezebel. A year younger and better looking. Jezebel is drama free.

Lagartha goes in for surgery
Lagartha is in trouble. She was cast aside for years because she was not as pretty as others. She was not as healthy as others. Lagartha has some serious issues. I ripped out her guts, and got to work. I’m going to make her stronger, faster, and better looking. She is “The 1000 horse power motorcycle.

Finished!! Rear tire assembly part 1
Part one of the rear tire assembly with new bearings and races all greased with high heat grease. 1000 HP, stuff is going to get HOT! Changed the paint scheme on the belt drive several times and I'm glad I did. Merica baby. That brake caliper is 4 piston Willwood High Performance and is a floating brake system with a stiff arm.

Front wheel as wild as the rear
This 3 piece wheel was as difficult as the rear wheel. I started from scratch about 20 times. Didn't like the hydro dip so again, i broke out the airbrush and masking tape. I finally called her done.

Most wild detailed rear motorcycle wheel I have ever seen and I painted it. Again.
This was the process it took to complete my rear wheel. Coutless hours, days, weeks, and yes, over a month to finish it. Many times I comptemplated stripping it and starting over but UNCLE JOE said, " In this family, we move forward and don't look back". He's not my uncle but my brother in law. ;)

Prepping and painting parts. The skull flames are hydrodipped. I liked it for aout 5 min. Eventualy, I came to the conclusion, I can paint them so much better.

1000 HP Motorcycle Build and Paint It Begins
This video contains pictures from day one disassembling the beast. This will be her 3rd and final (please be true) full build. I removed all chrome. Those of you who have done this must know how hard it is to remove. Gallons of paint stripper, degreaser, and cleaner. Can't paint parts that have any contamination. I use House of Kolor hybrid apoxy primer. It mixes as a low build, high build, and sealer, depending on how you mix it. I love this stuff. it does not come off unless you sand and grind it off. I heard it laughing at my stripper. She was pissed.

Swing arm recieved another detail. Wiley Coyote. I always root for the underdog. Finished the end caps for the swing arm assembly as well as the floating caliper stiff arm, and the axil covers. The axil covers have a big wheel mural on them as this was my first sence of real freedom as a child. I got one after the other as I wore them out from riding miles away from home and exsplored Bay Shore, Long Island, NY, where I lived up to 9 years old. Some outlaw bikers worked for my father and I was exsposed to some increadable bikes that looked like they came from hell. Choppers, leather, sculls, and the respect given, drew me in a direction and inspired me. After all, is freedom not the most precious thing God has given us? Freedom and liberty.

WTF! Just look at the size of this swing arm! Getting excited to getting close to assembling the entire unit and calling it done. Video does no justice to the layers of detail in this paint. Only the eye with the paint in the sun can you truly see the art pop. The bike turn heads, the horse power turns heads, the ZZ572 GM engine turns heads, I want this paint to be over the top. Only time, patience, blood, sweat and many tears will tell.

full assembly of rear wheel finished less the swing arm. I changed the swingarm adjusters and locks over to alumanum instead of the factory steel. Not much of this is stock. That 3" belt drive is alumanum as well from a stock 2". custom wheel and rotor too. I lightened up the rear. Bigger rotor, bigger wheel, Bigger belt drive, etc. Is bigger better than stock? Hell if I know but that look over stock is night and day in my opinion and sheding some weight on such a over weight motorcycle means I can continue to eat and not loose any speed.

These are the front wheel axil spacers that conect the wheel to the break rotors between the front forks. These spacers house the bearings for the front axil. not enough detail so im contemplating some Vanderslice red flake to brighten them up a bit. Rob Vanderslice is an old school custom low rider painter and in my opinion, one of the best. Check out his new line of paint, flake, Kandy, masking, etc. Vanderslice Kustom shop is online and rob is hands on with his customers and will do everything he can to meet your needs. Just a stand up guy and his product line is Awesome.

Finished! Front three piece wheel, painted, sanded and cleared. tire mounted. NO LEAKS!!! Cobra chrome for trikes tire was the tire I settled for. High speed, weight of bike, rain, etc all considered to come up with this.

Tire mounted, No leaks. Love the acorn nuts. Look at the size of this friggen tire. Between the 3" wide belt drive pully and the rim and tire, just enough room for the break roater, you can't fit anything else. Specked out to maximum standards. No room for error here. If anything was a 32nd of an inch bigger, it just would not work without making huge changes. I can't wait to get this on the road and burn up that tire. I'll ride those tags right off..

This is the front wheel. Screaming faces! Wouldn't you be screaming with 1000 HP on two wheels? Also a 3 piece wheel. Too much green on the earlier video but again, I painsteakenly fixed it until i could accept it as my work. Moving on.

3 piece wheel detailed paint after removing all chrome, prep, prime with apoxy primer, House of Kolor Orian silvermax bace, masking for miles, Kandy concentrates in S2-00 Trans Nebulae House of Kolors. Too many hours of prep and paint went into this to even concider counting.

Coming together but I'm not happy with how it's going. Too much green! What to do after so much time, so much detail. Start over? I already hydro dipped and stripped about 15 times. This took so much time I cringe to think of starting over again. Time, exspence, GRRRRRRR. I can fix it. Can I fix it?
