Lonnie joins us again and we get Dennis' sled together enough to take a few victory laps in this episode! Plus Lonnie's XLT makes laps too.

We struggled a bit getting all the right parts over Christmas weekend, but we eventually got the motor together and in the sled and... Hang around until the end! It's worth it.

Let me show you my most frequently used parts when I'm resurrecting sleds and why I use the particular type of parts that I use.

Update on the Polaris Cross Country Indy Project

This time we get the drive train and skid back together. Sled is pretty much ready for the motor at the end of this video.

In Part 3 we tear into Dennis' motor and get some really bad news. So we round up another motor and get some really bad news... XLT Crank problems.

Taking a break from working on sleds and playing fetch.

The ride home went awesome! Temps had cooled off ~5 deg and between that and the carb adjustments I made on Dennis' TX in the bar parking lot things were going a lot better. Dennis was feeling so good about the whole thing he decided to interject some comedy into the ride home.

New Project! Dennis decided he needed a triple - and it needs to be gone through. This one is going to get the standard program for reliability and maybe a nice upgrade.

Dennis and I set out for a ride after a small snow dump. Trails weren't open, but ditches are always open here! After some struggles with Dennis' ignition and carbs we finally made it and got our pizza! We got a tiny bit of snow here at Nutter's Speed Shop. Just enough for some yard riding. Lonnie gives his sled it's first taste of snow since the rebuild.

This time we recondition the skid. It was J U N K. broken rails, stuck shafts, bad bearings. We got through it and now it's good to go.
