⤈ WHO WE ARE ⤈
We are Philly and Keely and we live full time in our tiny home on wheels Martha. After building our DIY home in a Citroen Relay camper we spent a year living on the streets of London before quitting our jobs only to be met with lockdown. Then we took our van further than she had ever been before to the very beautiful Turkey. Enroute, we stopped off in Spain for a few weeks where we experienced every van lifers worst nightmare, we were robbed and they stole all valuables in our van. But then we were back on our feet, fully MOT’d and back on the road through Europe before we experienced another vanlife nightmare... our van caught fire!! After the trauma of that we had a massive change of plan and made our way to Japan. We enjoyed a three-month Japanese Adventure and then got back to Martha for some new European Adventures. After an incredible three-month Scottish road trip, we packed up our van and headed to Australia for a new van life adventure! Here we bought and built our new van in only 30 days and then took him deep into the Australian outback and beyond!

Everything Feels Different (Back To Where It All Began)
This van needs some serious TLC before we start our next big adventure to Tasmania. Vanlife in the Australian outback took its toll on all three of us and we need to get back to Melbourne to fit our new solar panels, get a replacement drone, fix up some mechanical and cosmetic issues on dingo. But fixes things on a van is not our strong suit, we can build one, but our track record on "improvements" leaves a lot to be desired, so let's see if letting me loose with a paint can was a terrible idea! Its very surreal being back in the Bunnings where this all began and back in Steves warehouse, its like nothing has changed but also everything feels different!
Huge thankyou again to Bluetti for providing us with an AC70 to give away to one of you guys!

OUR MOST EXPENSIVE FERRY EVER!! (Is Tasmania Worth It?)
The Journey to Tasmania Begins! The ferry to Tasmania is the most expensive boat we have ever taken and also the busiest ferry we have ever booked (and we have been on a lot of ferries in our time travelling through Europe in our van) One way tickets with the van can go for $980 in peak summer plus a $210 cabin, would make for $2400 return ticket to the island. In Winter tickets appear to be around $500 one way, so $1400 return with cabin. Coming from UK where there are so many different possible routes and companies connecting us it is very unique to us for there to be only one company, one route and one boat connecting the entire island state of Tasmania to mainland Australia! The ferry books up three months in advance which is something to be aware of, but you can get added to cancellation list to hopefully get a last minute crossing if needed. We have been super excited about exploring Tasmania, so we can bring you guys along and see if the ferry is worth it! (Spoiler alert, we think it is!)
Tasmania is a hikers paradise, the mountains are incredible, the coast line is stunning and this week we get our first ever Tasmanian wild swim in!

HARDER THAN WE THOUGHT... First Impressions of Van Life Tasmania
Tasmania is absolutely stunning, but we are quickly realising it might not be as easy as we expected it to be for van life in our little Toyota Hiace. [Remember to protect yourself with Nord VPN: http://www.nordvpn.com/chapter and use our link for 4 months free with 2 Year Plan] We are not self contained (apparently a pee bottle doesn't count as a toilet) which is a parameter for a lot of free camps. As we were here in the height of summer a lot of campsites with facilities are all booked up. Combine that with some rough weather and no LPG fuel stations things are a little tougher than expected.

NAKED & ALONE in the Centre of Australia (Outback Van Life)
Alone at the geographical centre of Australia, the perfect place to strip off, no? After a successful journey to the centre of Australia the real challenge begins as we now have to take BOTH vans back from the outback to the south coast of Australia! This will be the most intense convoy of our life, and both of us having to drive separately adds a whole new dimension to this already ridiculous road trip!
We had the idea before we even booked our flights that we wanted to go to the geographical centre of Australia, a once in a lifetime adventure, but with it being a 4WD road and all rental companies being shut out of season in the outback it seemed like this dream might never become a reality. We tried lots of different options but nothing was coming back a go, but then by complete fluke (or destiny) a relocation that had just been cancelled by someone else appeared in Alice Springs to be taken all the way back down to Adelaide that needed returned the next week! So we booked it in a heartbeat and knew we would do whatever we could to make it happen. So this video is the second half of that adventure, where we now have to try and get it returned after our detour to the centre!

We Barely Survived 1 Month in a Tiny Van in the Australian Outback
We Documented an Entire Month of Van Life in the Australian Outback. We were told by many exploring the Outback in our Tiny Van in Summer this was a terrible idea and maybe it was, [Remember to protect yourself with Nord VPN: http://www.nordvpn.com/chapter and use our link for 4 months free with 2 Year Plan] but it was one of the best bad decisions we ever made.
We endured extreme temperatures, terrible roads, a road train ripping of our solar panels, so were travelling with no solar power but we were determined to conquer the outback. We pushed on to the heart of the Australia: Uluru. Watching the sunset over such a special place made everything feel worthwhile. Beyond Uluru things took a turn for the worse and it was probably our most difficult week of van life yet journeying the backroads to Alice Springs, but the animal encounters and swimming hole made that low become the highlight of our trip. Then beyond we took a 4wd adventure to the geographical centre of Australia at Lambert, but with the clock ticking to get back to Adelaide within four days. This month was an emotional rollercoaster, plenty of dark days, but the highs were unbelievable, it has been the adventure of a lifetime, and we survived the hardest challenge we have ever set ourselves. These memories deserved a place on our channel forever, one big video combining all our highs and lows an ode to the outback which will always have our hearts.

Van Life Goes Seriously Wrong in the Australian Outback!
Join Our Most Challenging Week of Van Life so far!!
[Remember to protect yourself with Nord VPN: http://www.nordvpn.com/chapter and use our link for 4 months free with 2 Year Plan] The sobering reality of the dangers of vanlife in the outback come crashing down on us this week! We head beyond Uluru to Kata Tjuta and end up taking ourselves on an extreme outback adventure unknowingly. No internet for days, unsealed roads for hundreds of kilometres, low water and an empty fuel tank all take their toll on us and on the van. But the Australian animals always make everything worth while, we were so excited to see wild camels and even the heat exhaustion couldn't take away that joy! We even manage to squeeze in some wild swimming at ormiston gorge and Ellery creek before make a big decision about our route heading forward.

We Drove to The Dead Centre of Australia (for only $1)
Join us as we take on our ultimate outback adventure with a 4WD journey to the geographical centre of Australia. As much as we love our van dingo, we wanted one last extreme outback memory, and we knew for this we would be heading off road. At the time of filming this was a struggle as all rentals in Alice Springs were closing for Christmas and wet season, so it was an absolute miracle to get a relocation but it had to be returned before they closed for the season! So join us on part one as we journey towards the centre of Australia to experience the most remote place we will probably ever be. P.s Don't worry though guys we had an emergency GPS locator and 150litres of water on board to keep us going if the worst happened.
