A good buddy, prior coworker, and I had a night of a few drinks before he goes back home to New Mexico to be with family and build a life. He mentioned he had never been South of DFW, we both had never played golf South of DFW either, so we said F it let's go that next morning (Friday). I got up at 3 am, picked Ryan up at 3:30, filled the car up and left Grapevine, Texas at 4 am. Arrived in Austin at 7 am. We picked the first course that was close, Riverside Golf Course was it... and they were able to get us on at 7:30... They were great people! Good course. Yeah, somebody already said there are better places, but they took care of us!!! If you have a recommendation for others, comment below, I'd love to come back to Austin to play. Stepped foot on a golf course last year, 2023, and fell in love with it. Am I good, heck no. Am I rich enough to play it everyday or every weekend, also no. Do I enjoy the four hours outside with buddies and laughing and just living, yes. If I could, I would be out everyday and it definitely helps my depression. This isn't everything from last year, and the audio isn't great, the program crashed and I lost half of what I had, so I just said "ef" it and just edited and went full send. The others will be better... Hopefully. And I apologize for the dang watermark, I'm tight financially right now, but hope to get rid of it later when I can buy the subscription.
