This is an original song written and performed by Mari Earl. Mari had a big influence on her nephew, Kurt Cobain and helped him make is first recordings. I met Mari in the late eighties before Kurt's sudden rise to fame.

This song was written in 1976 to celebrate America's Bicentennial. I updated the words to reflect our current struggles against tyranny. This song was written to bring awareness that our liberty must be guarded.

Sultry minor swing

This original song was written in 1986. It was recorded in The Wayside Motel in Reno, Nevada by Tony Bish and Val Smith. Two unplugged electric guitars and vocals were recorded on a cassette recorder. Great solo by Tony Bish. We never made it big in the music biz but we did write a couple hundred songs before Tony died. Man, we thought we were gonna change the world.
