West of Kearsarge in North Conway is a rural area bedecked with farms of all sizes. Leaf peepers don't often get out this way, but perhaps they should.

Pinkham Notch is a great place for panoramic vistas, particularly when the fall colors are on display.

Jackson, NH is one of my favorite places, and I'm not alone. It's in fall and winter that it's most stunning. From the bridge over the Ellis river to the classic New England buildings, Jackson is beautiful.

Jackson has a strange Halloween tradition of putting pumpkin heads on wooden people with some interesting results.
