Are Icons and Statues Idols? The Bible Tells us! Do Catholics Worship Idols? (Idolatry)
Are Icons and statues idols? And do Catholic worship idols? The Bible tells us! Many will tell you it's idolatry and quote the Ten Commandments, but if we look at the Scriptures in their context and view them in relation to each other, we'll see that's not the case. In fact, God actually commanded the Israelites to make statues and carved images, which would violate the First Commandment—Most Protestants and Eastern Orthodox Christians believe it's the Second Commandment, but it's not formatted as such in the original Scripture—if it was prohibition of all carved/graven images. What God was prohibiting was the making of idols, which this video demonstrates. Many people believe Catholics worship statues and icons, but after watching this video you'll see that's incorrect and nothing more than a misconception. The Church makes it clear that divinizing anything other than God is idolatry.

What is the Trinity? & Why is it True? (Jesus and the Holy Spirit are God in the Bible)
The Holy Trinity is one of the core beliefs in Catholicism and other branches of Christianity whether it's Eastern and Oriental Orthodoxy or the vast majority of Protestantism. The doctrine of the Trinity states that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all God. It was a belief among the Early Church Fathers and was officially declared as true by the Catholic Church in the First Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325. In this video you'll learn what the Trinity is and see how it's revealed in the Bible—Scripture tells us that both Jesus and the Holy Spirit are God.
