2 Nephi 25:26
And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.

Is tolerance a virtue or a vice - Boyd K. Packer
Is tolerance a virtue or a vice?
"Tolerance is a virtue, but like all virtues, when exaggerated, it transforms itself into a vice. We need to be careful of the “tolerance trap” so that we are not swallowed up in it. The permissiveness afforded by the weakening of the laws of the land to tolerate legalized acts of immorality does not reduce the serious spiritual consequence that is the result of the violation of God’s law of chastity."
Boyd K. Packer, These Things I Know, Annual General Conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
The poem he wrote and shared in this same talk is also rather amusing. Link below:

Behave in an uncivil manner - Mark DeMoss
"I will not attempt to speak for your church, but I will speak for and to mine: It is never an option to claim Jesus Christ as Savior and behave in an uncivil manner with anyone, under any circumstance. Never."

Personal thoughts...
Gab has a major civility problem. It is the desires of our hearts, along with our works (Revelation 20:12 KJV), from which will come our eternal judgement. If we so choose to be uncivil towards each other then how can we claim to be followers of Jesus Christ.
I post in this group almost exclusively. I do not go out of my way to say anything, especially negative, towards any other person. Yet, others regularly and willfully stretch their necks to poke their head in and proclaim falsehoods to our faces. To those I say look at the quote above from Mark DeMoss and reflect upon your actions.

Child of God - Russell M. Nelson
"We are eternal beings—spirit children of heavenly parents. The Bible records that “God created man in his own image, … male and female created he them.” Recently I heard a chorus of children sing the beloved song “I Am a Child of God.” I wondered, “Why haven’t I heard that song rendered more often by singing mothers or faithful fathers?” Are we not all children of God? In truth, not one of us can ever stop being a child of God!"

Tithing is a matter of faith - Neil L. Andersen
The Apostle Paul warned that the wisdom of men understands the things of men but has difficulty understanding the things of God. The world speaks of tithing in terms of our money, but the sacred law of tithing is principally a matter of our faith. Being honest in our tithes is one way we show our willingness to put the Lord first in our lives, above our own cares and interest. I promise you that as you trust in the Lord, the blessings of heaven will follow.

The faith required for the sacrifice of tithing has returned enormous amounts of blessings to me. So many, in fact, that I cannot count them all. So many that I haven't been able to receive them all. I highly recommend testing the promises of Malachi.

Matthew 22:37-40 - Richard G. Scott
Matthew 22:37-40
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt alove the Lord thy God with all thy bheart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy cmind.
38 This is the first and great acommandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt alove thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Excerpt from "I Testify" - Ezra Taft Benson
I testify that as the forces of evil increase under Lucifer’s leadership and as the forces of good increase under the leadership of Jesus Christ, there will be growing battles between the two until the final confrontation. As the issues become clearer and more obvious, all mankind will eventually be required to align themselves either for the kingdom of God or for the kingdom of the devil.
Ezra Taft Benson, I Testify, 1988 Semiannual General Conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/general-conference/1988/10/i-testify?lang=eng
This is the last sermon Ezra Taft Benson gave in general conference with his own voice. At this time he was clearly having issues with reading the talk he wrote. If you watch closely you'll see slight glitches in where he is standing. Those are a result of video edits to remove long silence where he is having difficulties turning the pages.
This is, by far, my favorite talk given by Ezra Taft Benson.

2 Nephi 2:27 - L. Tom Perry
2Nephi 2:27
Wherefore, men are free according to the flesh; and all things are given them which are expedient unto man. And they are free to choose liberty and eternal life, through the great Mediator of all men, or to choose captivity and death, according to the captivity and power of the devil; for he seeketh that all men might be miserable like unto himself.

Your children are watching, listening, and learning - Jan E. Newman
"My dear friends in Christ, you are doing much better than you think. Just keep working at it. Your children are watching, listening, and learning. As you teach them, you will come to know their true nature as beloved sons and daughters of God. They may forget the Savior for a season, but I promise you He will never forget them! Those moments when the Holy Ghost speaks to them will persist in their hearts and minds. And one day your children will echo the testimony of Enos: I know my parents are just, “for [they] taught me … in the nurture and admonition of the Lord—and blessed be the name of my God for it.”

Marriage between a man and a woman - Russel M. Nelson
"Marriage between a man and a woman is fundamental to the Lord’s doctrine and crucial to God’s eternal plan. Marriage between a man and a woman is God’s pattern for a fulness of life on earth and in heaven. God’s marriage pattern cannot be abused, misunderstood, or misconstrued. Not if you want true joy. God’s marriage pattern protects the sacred power of procreation and the joy of true marital intimacy. We know that Adam and Eve were married by God before they ever experienced the joy of uniting as husband and wife.
In our day civil governments have a vested interest in protecting marriage because strong families constitute the best way of providing for the health, education, welfare, and prosperity of rising generations. But civil governments are heavily influenced by social trends and secular philosophies as they write, rewrite, and enforce laws. Regardless of what civil legislation may be enacted, the doctrine of the Lord regarding marriage and morality cannot be changed. Remember: sin, even if legalized by man, is still sin in the eyes of God!"
