Hello all, My fruit trees, bramble plants, blueberry bushes, grapes, and other plants have finally arrived! These are all ordered from TreesOfAntiquity.com (not a sponsor) and I can not recommend them enough!! I was asked on X how I kept deer out of the garden and orchard. So I made a quick video. And yes it was raining/freezing rain outside if you can hear it

Our deer fence looks to have been damaged by the wind allowing deer to re-invade the garden/orchard area. When the spouse went to check on the fence a deer jumped out and over the fence.

Just a quick update on my hives. I do not show inside them as I did not spend a lot of time in them due to the temperature outside.

We are working on installing a new area on the farm. This one is for queen breeding and nuc production. Follow along as we build it out. It is quite large and will hopefully be done by the end of April.

Hello, here is a rare winter inspection. The weather was nice so I took advantage of it to check and feed the bees. Enjoy!

Towards the end of 2023, I had to replace a tree that died, Here is how i replaced the tree and what I do to replace the tree.

Here is my quick and easy way to quickly and not wastefully clean honey bee extracting equipment. Just make sure you do it very far away from your hives.

Our farm is monitored by some security cameras that utilize cellular service. Both for security and monitoring the area (those darn deer!!!) Well we caught this praying mantis having fun with a camera.
