Bone Thugs ~ E1999 Eternal (Full Album) HD
E. 1999 Eternal is the second studio album by American hip hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, released July 25, 1995, on Ruthless Records. The album was released four months after the death of rapper Eazy-E, the group's mentor and the executive producer of the album. Both the album and single "Tha Crossroads" are dedicated to him. Following up on the surprise success of their breakthrough single "Thuggish Ruggish Bone", it became a popular album and received positive reviews from music critics, earning praise for the group's melodic rapping style. The album title is a portmanteau of Cleveland's eastside neighborhood centering on East 99th Street and St. Clair Avenue where the group is based and the then-future year 1999.
The album sold 307,000 copies in the first week. E. 1999 Eternal became the group's best-selling album, with four million copies sold in the United States. It topped the US Billboard 200 for two consecutive weeks. The album was nominated for the inaugural Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, ultimately losing to Naughty by Nature's Poverty's Paradise at the 1996 Grammy Awards.[2] In 2015, the group toured in support of the 20th anniversary of the album, performing it in its entirety for the first time.

Upon release, E. 1999 Eternal met with critical acclaim. Cheo H. Coker of the Los Angeles Times wrote that the group "has raised the stakes of the gangsta rap game, not only in terms of pure, gritty excess, but also in rhyme-style, cadence and delivery", concluding: "This is the kind of album that starts out good and gets better with repeated listenings—as the dark, subliminal references clear up. Easily one of the most worthwhile rap purchases of the year."[6]
Retrospectively, Jason Birchmeier of AllMusic described E. 1999 Eternal as "an impressive debut full-length that dismisses any notion that the group was merely a one-hit wonder", adding that it "maintains a consistent tone, one that's menacing and somber, produced entirely by DJ U-Neek, a Los Angeles-based producer who frames the songs with dark, smoked-out G-funk beats and synth melodies."[3] The Source hailed E. 1999 Eternal as one of The Top 100 Rap Albums of 1990s.
In a second thought review in Stylus Magazine, the album was described as "Lyrically speaking, Bone Thugs have much in common with countless mainstream rap acts. The themes running throughout E.1999 Eternal are familiar—drugs, violent crime and death make regular appearances. It's the manner in which the lyrics are framed and delivered that makes the group such a bizarre proposition. Bone Thugs had a melodic flow—frequently delivered in unison—that bordered on singing. They could rap together at a lightning fast pace, without losing their sweetness." Stylus also praised producer DJ U-Neek for his production style on the album stating "The album was entirely produced by DJ U-Neek (although he did collaborate on some tracks), endowing cohesiveness to the unique Bone Thugs sound. U-Neek was, like the vocal group members of Bone Thugs, unorthodox in the rap field. It wouldn't be far off to describe him as a songwriter as well as a producer. He was always keen to flesh out interesting sounds—usually based around rumbling piano chords, mellotron and synthesised strings. Yet, the focus was largely on song craft and melody—the album frequently strays into gloomy territory, but never loses its sense of tunefulness. The beats were not particularly striking—usually low-key and sluggish, but the album's strengths are not rhythm-related."

Creepin on ah Come Up is the debut EP by American hip hop group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. The album was released on June 21, 1994, on Ruthless Records. In 1998, the album was selected as one of The Source's 100 Best Rap Albums.[5]
History
Bone Thugs-n-Harmony released their first album, Faces of Death, in 1993, under the name B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e. After the group was noticed by Eazy-E, he signed the group to Ruthless Records and suggested the name Thugs-N-Harmony after a song of the same name by the group, and they eventually agreed on the name Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.[6]
Music and lyrics
Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's first extended play includes the singles "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" and "Foe tha Love of $". Features on the album include vocalist Shatasha Williams and their mentor and executive producer Eazy-E. The first two lines of "Intro" are backwards. Played forward are "Heaven in art which Father our, Our Father which art in Heaven" Tracks 3, 4 and 6 have listed, "Keenu Songs" which is "U-Neek" spelled backwards.
Parts of "Foe tha Love of $" (including Jewell's backing vocals) are recycled from the Yomo & Maulkie track "For the Love of Money", from their 1991 album Are U Xperienced?.[7] The closing track on Creepin on ah Come Up, "Moe Cheese", is actually the same instrumental track from Are U Xperienced?, also titled "For the Love of Money".

Bone Thugs N Harmony - Faces Of Death FULL (1993) HD
Faces of Death is the debut studio album by American Hip Hop group B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e. The album was originally released in 1993 on Stoney Burke, the independent label of Kermit Henderson, a record store owner in Cleveland who helped the band to record the album.[2] A verse from the first 1991 local radio single, titled "Flow Motion", was performed over the phone by member, Krayzie Bone, leading to 4 of the 5 members meeting up with Eazy-E and getting them signed to Ruthless Records. A digitally remastered version was released in 1995 after the band had signed with Eazy-E and changed their name to Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.
The album introduced the group's unique new style of rapping in harmony, alternating singing and rapping, with layered harmonies of spoken rap.[3]

Alias - The Other Side Of The Looking Glass- FULL ALBUM HD
The Other Side of the Looking Glass is the debut solo studio album by American hip hop musician Alias. It was released on Anticon in 2002. It features a guest appearance from Doseone.[5]
Critical reception
Stanton Swihart of AllMusic gave the album 4.5 stars out of 5, saying: "There is a jittery, kinetic, midnight vitality to both the sound and sentiment expressed on this solo debut, yet Alias has an almost disarmingly serene way of wading through the mazes of his mind."[1]

Brad Mills of AllMusic gave the album 4 stars out of 5, calling it "surprising, analytical, darkness, mystery, lyricism, and jealous."[3] Jon Caramanica of Spin gave the album a 7 out of 10, commenting that "Aesop's voice is a rich, flat bass cut with a thin growl; through its resonance, he's able to explore the variations within a timbre to access a vast emotional range."[7] Thomas Quinlan of Exclaim! gave the album a mixed review, writing: "While there are no bad songs, the consistent similarity between all of the tracks in regards to drum samples and vocal sounds causes the album to have a bit of a tiresome feel as it nears its conclusion."[2] He added: "The guest MCs add different vocal styles to the album, which helps take your mind off Aesop's vocals long enough to appreciate them when they come back."[2]
In 2014, Joseph Schafer of Stereogum named it the 3rd best Aesop Rock record, saying: "The whole record sounds more anxious than his more assured later work, which makes for an exciting listen."[8]

A TRIBE CALLED QUEST 1996 Beats Rhymes and Life FULL ALBUM HD
Beats, Rhymes and Life is the fourth studio album by American hip hop group A Tribe Called Quest. Released on July 30, 1996, by Jive Records, it followed three years after the highly regarded and successful Midnight Marauders. Produced by The Ummah, the album is a departure from the joyful, positive vibe of the group's earlier albums and is regarded as their darkest album in content. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on October 27, 1998.
Background
In September 1993, shortly after the recording of Midnight Marauders had concluded, Phife Dawg moved to Atlanta.[1][2] Along with Q-Tip's conversion to Islam the following year, the addition of Jay Dee to the group's new production team, The Ummah, and the enlistment of guest rapper Consequence, Q-Tip's cousin, the group dynamic changed drastically.[2][3][4] Phife Dawg later stated that "the chemistry was dead, shot", while Q-Tip felt that becoming a Muslim "made the atmosphere much more serious."[2][3]
Music and lyrics
For Beats, Rhymes and Life, The Ummah created a minimalist sound reminiscent of The Low End Theory, which Ali Shaheed Muhammad described as "nothing extravagant, nothing far out."[2][5] Miles Marshall Lewis of The Source praised The Ummah for being "the most proficient in the rap game at using samples as instruments in themselves."[6] Regarding Jay Dee's five contributions to the album, Q-Tip stated, "He would just send me the beats and then I would lay them."[7] One of his contributions, the lead single "1nce Again", was hailed as "one of the few successes" on the album and a "surprising R&B crossover."[5]
Lyrically, the group addresses "everything from O.J. to spirituality" and were recognized for the complexity of their messages.[5][8] However, they were criticized for sounding "bored", "confused, hostile, and occasionally paranoid."[2][5] In the song "Keeping It Moving", Q-Tip responds to the diss comments made about him in MC Hammer's songs "Break 'Em Off Somethin' Proper" and "Funky Headhunter", as well as Westside Connection's song "Cross 'Em out and Put a K".[9] In the first verse, he says that comments previously made about the West Coast were not intended to be a diss and that people should not misinterpret his lyrics

Aesop Rock - Music for earth worms [Full Album]
Music for Earthworms is American hip hop artist Aesop Rock's debut release, a collection of miscellaneous tracks recorded during summers and other occasions on which Aesop Rock would return home to New York City from college at Boston University. The packaging states "This is not an album. It is merely a chance for heads to hear some of the music we've been making." The featured material was mostly recorded in a Manhattan studio where Dub-L and Plain Pat were working as interns. Although the studio was not typically used as a recording studio, it was equipped with impressive technology for the time, including Digital Audio Tape machines, ADAT machines and CD drives capable of burning discs. Aesop Rock's vocals were recorded on an SM58 microphone.[3]
Music for Earthworms was ultimately self-distributed. As an unsigned artist, Aesop Rock was responsible for cutting out the album covers and burning the album onto CDs himself.[3] The tracks are organized under three subheadings: "Some recent tracks," "The Controls featuring Aesop Rock," and "Some dusty oldies from a few years back."
Aesop Rock references the project and its rarity[clarification needed] on his 2002 EP Daylight in the track "Alchemy." Blueprint asks:
"So why they blaming you for the cats that sleep while the earth turns?"
Aesop Rock responds:
"Yeah I had em' up all night praying I'd re-release Music For Earthworms."

A Tribe Called Quest People s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm FULL ALBUM HD
People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm is the debut studio album by American hip hop group A Tribe Called Quest, released on April 10, 1990[1] on Jive Records. After forming the Native Tongues collective and collaborating on several projects, A Tribe Called Quest began recording sessions for People's Instinctive Travels in late 1989 at Calliope Studios with completion reached in early 1990. The album's laid back production encompassed a diverse range of samples which functioned as a template for the group's unorthodox lyrics.
People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm was met with acclaim from professional music critics and the hip hop community on release, and was eventually certified gold in the United States on January 19, 1996. Its recognition has extended over the years as it is widely regarded as a central album in alternative hip hop with its unconventional production and lyricism. It is also credited for influencing many artists in both hip hop and R&B. In a commemorative article for XXL, Michael Blair wrote that "People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm was immensely groundbreaking, and will eternally maintain its relevance within the culture and construction of hip-hop".

Aesop Rock - Appleseed EP
Appleseed is an EP by American hip hop musician Aesop Rock. It was originally self-released in 1999, and reissued via Rhymesayers Entertainment in 2021. Produced by Aesop Rock himself, Omega One, and Blockhead, it features a guest appearance from Doseone.[1] It peaked at number 70 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart.[2]
Release
The EP was originally self-released on CD-R in 1999.[3] Aesop Rock said: "The first Appleseed CD's were CD-R's I duped at home and sold from my backpack at an MF DOOM show at Brownies, which was right below my apartment at the time."[3] He added: "I continued to sell hand-to-hand in NY, while Blockhead started fielding some mail orders from a young internet. People would send us cash or a check, and he'd cut the covers out and mail them off."[3] In 2021, the official reissue version of the EP was released via Rhymesayers Entertainment.[4]

Paul Simpson of AllMusic gave the EP 3.5 stars out of 5, commenting that "Appleseed's lyrics are more introspective than they might seem at first, even if they're not quite as autobiographical as later Aesop albums like Skelethon and The Impossible Kid, and he hadn't developed his knack for storytelling yet, so the songs are less narrative and closer to aggravated bursts."[1] He added: "Musically, the tracks are relatively laid-back and uncomplicated, barely hinting at the grand leap Aesop would take with the more polished production of his 2001 breakthrough Labor Days, but they serve as a neat time capsule of the late-'90s backpacker rap era."[1] Thomas Quinlan of Exclaim! called it "an amazing collection of songs that may end up being the best EP of the year."[5]
In 2014, Joseph Schafer of Stereogum named it the 7th best Aesop Rock record.[7]
In 2021, Eddie Ugarte of Ghettoblaster Magazine wrote: "The story of Appleseed is also the story of a burgeoning independent hip hop scene that began to flourish in the wake of technological innovations of the era, including quality affordable home recording equipment and the rising availability of CD-R drives, which gave artists the freedom to write, record, and manufacture albums outside of the constraints of a label system."[8]

A Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Marauders Full Album HD
Midnight Marauders is the third studio album by American hip hop group A Tribe Called Quest, released on November 9, 1993, by Jive Records. Recording sessions for the album occurred at Battery Studios, Platinum Island Studios and Scorcerer Sound in New York City. Its production was mainly handled by Q-Tip, with contributions from Skeff Anselm, Large Professor and the group's DJ, Ali Shaheed Muhammad. A culmination of the group's two previous albums, People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm and The Low End Theory, it features an eclectic, gritty sound based on jazz, funk, soul and R&B samples, in addition to socially conscious, positively-minded, and humorous lyrics.
Midnight Marauders debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200 and number one on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The first two singles, "Electric Relaxation" and "Award Tour", charted on the Billboard Hot 100, before the release of the final single, "Oh My God". On January 14, 1994, the album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), with shipments of 500,000 copies in the United States. It was certified platinum by the RIAA nearly a full year later, on January 11, 1995, with shipments of one million copies.
The album received mostly positive reviews from critics upon release. In the following years, Midnight Marauders has acquired further acclamation from within the hip hop community for its production, chemistry and influence, with some regarding it as the group's best work, and one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time. Several writers have credited it as a contributor to a "second golden age" of hip hop in the mid-1990s, as well as the pinnacle of the Native Tongues movement. In 2020, it was ranked at number 201 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

50 Cent Guess Who s Back FULL MIXTAPE
Guess Who's Back? is the debut official mixtape by American rapper 50 Cent, released May 21, 2002 on independent label Full Clip Records in the United States. It is his first official release after his 2000 effort Power of the Dollar went unreleased due to Columbia Records' discovery of a May 2000 shooting where 50 Cent was struck by nine bullets, and was subsequently dropped from the label as a result. The album features production by Trackmasters, DJ Clark Kent, Father Shaheed, Sha Money XL, Red Spyda, and Terence Dudley. Guess Who's Back? received generally positive reviews from music critics and peaked at number 28 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.[7]
Background
The album was recorded in Canada after 50 Cent was "blacklisted" in the recording industry and was unable to find a studio to work with in the U.S.[8]
After releasing the album, 50 Cent was discovered by rapper Eminem, who listened to a copy of the album through 50 Cent's attorney, who was working with Eminem's manager, Paul Rosenberg, and he was signed to Interscope Records.[9]
The tracks "Your Life's on the Line", "Corner Bodega", "Ghetto Qu'ran" and "As The World Turns" were originally to be released on 50 Cent's shelved album, Power of the Dollar. "Killa Tape" and "That's What's Up" would later appear on the mixtape, 50 Cent Is the Future. "U Not Like Me" and "Life's on the Line" would later appear on 50 Cent's debut studio album, Get Rich or Die Tryin'. As of May 2004, the album has sold over 400,000 copies in the United States.[10]The album's cover art was later used in the video for 50 Cent's song, "Piggy Bank".
