The Bear Debate, Gender Dynamics and the Quest for Community Learning Spaces
When a mother faces the unthinkable, the strength she musters becomes a beacon for us all. My friend Taylor shares the harrowing tale of her son Phoenix's battle with cancer, setting the stage for a broader conversation on the resilience required of families when confronted by a child's potential health crisis. We delve into the emotional aftermath of a negative MRI scan, the difficult medical decisions to be made, and how the specter of serious illness can cast long shadows on a family's psyche. Taylor's openness provides a window into the courage it takes to navigate such a journey, and her story is sure to resonate with anyone who has faced the trials of parenthood.
Amid personal reflection and cultural discourse, we traverse the complex terrain of gender dynamics and societal expectations. The ripple effects of a TikTok trend underscore our discussion on the implications of that "bear or man" debate, leading to sharper dialogues about women's safety, the pressure on men to adopt new roles, and the insidious reach of toxic masculinity and toxic femininity. We don't shy away from the discomforts these topics may bring; instead, we embrace them, acknowledging that our shared experiences are intertwined with larger cultural shifts that directly impact how we navigate the world as men and women.
In a critical examination of the education system, we compare school buses in Asheville to prison transport, igniting a passionate debate on the state of public education and alternative learning options. My own search for a teaching position in education serves as a springboard to discuss how we might reimagine education to benefit our youth. As our dialogue unfolds, we consider the transformative potential of community-oriented learning environments and the role they may play in cultivating self-sufficient local communities. Join us for this thought-provoking episode that aims to connect the dots between personal struggles and societal challenges.

Saturday Livestream: The Quest for Healing, Nutritional Wisdom, and Spiritual Growth
When the very system designed to heal us seems to falter, where do we turn? Our latest episode peels back the curtain on the realities of navigating health crises, from the personal battles with Lyme disease to the heart-wrenching journey of a child's fight against cancer. We weave through tales of medical anomalies, like a mass that took on a life of its own, and the countless voices of patients seeking advocates within a labyrinthine healthcare system. Our guests reveal their intimate struggles and the critical importance of having healthcare providers who not only listen but also integrate holistic practices into their care.
The narrative then shifts to the kitchen and beyond, scrutinizing the fats we consume and the pervasive myths surrounding cholesterol. We spar with the misconceptions that have long governed our diets and offer up practical wisdom on selecting pure olive oil—a staple in any health-conscious pantry. But it's not all about what we eat; it's about who guides us through the maze of nutrition labels and medical advice. Our conversation underscores the search for medical professionals who appreciate the power of nutrition, sharing stories of those rare finds who approach healing through both nature and science.
As our exchange deepens, we stir the pot with thoughts on spirituality's role in shaping our moral compass, suggesting that true spiritual work has the capacity to transcend individual flaws. Our guests touch upon the enigmatic absence of chemtrails in Tennessee skies—a topic we promise to further explore. It's a tapestry of human experience, woven with resilience, advocacy, and a quest for truth in both healthcare and the human spirit. Join us for an episode that's not just about the illnesses that ail us but about the journeys that define our resolve and the connections that sustain us.

Saturday Livestream, April 20 "Life at Ground Zero in the Spiritual War"
Patti flies solo and explores all the ways we - especially in the West - are fighting for our spiritual, emotional, mental and physical lives. Most people don't realize that, even as we are warned of an impending WW3, we are already at war. So many feel exhausted and "shell shocked" by the constant barrage of news drama and the disclosures of corruption on all levels. What do we do to survive and even thrive in this environment? Patti suggests the answer may be a closer look at ourselves.

(oops!) This is the correct Livestream video for April 14!
Hey, friends! Sorry I posted last week's video this week. Let's blame it on Mercury retrograde, shall we? Here's the real "Saturday Livestream, April 14 "Post Eclipse Transformation, Comfort Zones and Line Dancing".
Patti, Taylor and Anoki explore the coming changes in 2024, shifting perspectives, the challenges of ordinary life and how dipping just one toe into the waters outside our comfort zones can be the start of a complete transformation. For Taylor, it looked like jumping into the freezing waters of a nearby waterfall and for Patti, it looked like accepting an invitation to a local country music hall for a little line dancing.
We do this every Saturday at 9:00 and Livestream to Patti Talks Too Much Facebook page, Youtube, X and Rumble.

Saturday Livestream, April 6 "Eclipses, DNA and Kittens"
Patti and Taylor sail into Eclipse-land without Anoki, whom they presume is busy momming. Why do we know so little about our sun, anyway? Why is so much knowledge about ourselves and our natural world held back, omitted or obfuscated? Isn't it our birthright? Patti and Taylor explore the conspiracies and possibilities surrounding the upcoming eclipse, the shifting energies, dream portals and a kitten.

Saturday Livestream, March 30 "Mirrors, Eclipses and Letting Go"
Patti, Taylor and Anoki get into the random and not so random stuff of life again when Taylor shares an incident in which she broke a mirror at work - with her ass - and now feared seven long years of bad luck, or bad flatulence. After digging a little, they discover there is more to the message than silly superstition. And what about that eclipse looming next week? They have lots to say about that, too.

Maybe Aliens Like to Shop, Too
2024 starts with a bang in the high strange as ten foot tall "creatures" are reported walking through the Bayside Mall in Miami.
So... what really happened at the Bayside Mall in Miami? Shoppers report 10 foot tall "creatures", dozens of police cars show up and a few helicopters...then radio silence and some weird story about teens fighting with sticks and setting off fireworks.
Totally sus.
Oh, and there's that story from last year about some similar creatures dropping in on a village in Peru... The Peru aliens were nasty f@ckers. The Miami aliens just wanted to use that gift card they got for Christmas...

Patti Talks Too Much, Episode 1, Patti's Unsolicited, Unqualified Predictions for 2024
Hi. I'm Patti and it's been said - many times - that I talk too much. I'm a teacher, author, nature lover and for ten years I owned a coffeehouse cafe where my faith in the goodness of humans was restored every day. This podcast highlights the awesomeness of humanity - er...outside the warmongers, globalists, tyrants and politicians and psychopaths. You know, the rest of us weird, quirky and sometimes hilarious humans.
We'll talk woo, probe mysteries and leave you thinking about something more interesting or entertaining or uplifting than your grocery list, or boss or that oil change your car needs.
I talk too much because I can't help my Gemini moon and Leo Rising nature. I do a podcast because it's cheaper, funnier and more productive than therapy.
