Description

Dave Mangano was born in Taurianova and began his musical studies at the age of 7. In 2013 he obtained his diploma in classical guitar at the "F. Cilea" Conservatory of Reggio Calabria. In 2001 he won the national music competition "Città di Barcelona Pozzo di Gotto" and in 2012 the national competition "Premio Pasquale Benintende" of Villa San Giovanni. He has participated in classical and modern guitar masterclasses and masterclasses with: Leo Brower, Jorge Cardoso, Juan Lorenzo, Laurent Boutros, Giovanni Palombo, Ernesto Tamayo and Paul Gilbert, just to name a few. He has made several musical recordings on CD (own productions or as an arranger) In 2017 he released his first solo album "The end is just the beginning" Starting from 2021 his music will be broadcast on the main national channels of Rai. In February 2018 he was included in the prestigious Italian magazine "Chitarra Acustica" among the eight emerging Italian talents.
