Drivers seat perspective of the 68 Chevy turbo-charged van, doing the ultimate burnout
Drivers seat perspective of the 68 Chevy turbo-charged van, doing the ultimate burnout at only about 7 psi boost. Took place at the local weekly tuners car show just of Blackfoot trail at the Tim Hortons donut shop. The kids had fun filming this as a lot of them have never even seen a van this old doing burnouts & spooling the turbo....

Boosted 408 LS first drive, with burnouts and cops on my ass
Short video documenting the first actual drive of our boosted 408 LS in the 1980- Ford Thunderbird ( Fox body ). We make sure that oil pressure is good and all systems are functioning as expected. Also verification that the tune on our Terminator X-max is close to correct, and will run the car on our first start. I go around the block a couple of times and make sure that the turbo spools, with the car responding as expected. Since this is a larger displacement LS (408 ) it should spool that 76/75 T4 turbo charger very quickly. This is verified in our video as the throttle response is instant with the turbo audibly spooling as the throttle is depressed. ( I didn't put more than a 1/4 throttle input into all the burnouts, also got off the throttle very quickly as this was the first official test run of the car ). Towards the end of the video as expected the police are on my ass...lol... Wish I had the scene where I was talking to the officer, but the glasses cam failed for those scenes...sorry guys as that was good footage. In conclusion this was a very successful first test run as all systems worked as expected. More video's to come and hopefully they will be more informative and exciting . Thanks all for watching and commenting.

Terminator X Max Quick Tuning tip, Timing retard per pound of boost procedure
Short video to demonstrate the procedure for retarding the timing per pound of boost, on our Terminator X-max controlled boosted 408 LS engine in the 1980 Ford Thunderbird. This simple quick procedure applies to all LS engines controlled by the Terminator X-max or the Terminator ECU's.I had a tune that worked well created on my PC on the ECU. Took the car for a drive as it was quite warm. I noticed some detonation as I was rolling into boost. This procedure is a quick way to change Timing as the boost rises depending on ambient temperature and other environmental or mechanical factors ( bad gas, bad air etc ) or if you have no octane boost or race gas. Thanks for watching and your continued support...

Terminator X Max Tuning tip, Changing channels as to what information the 3.5 inch display shows
Short video to demonstrate the procedure for changing channels ( live engine / transmission data ) such as boost-psi, manifold air temperature-mat, air fuel ratio-afr, RPM, fan control, throttle position-tps, transmission line temp, transmission torque converter lock up status, transmission gear, coolant temperature, etc in real time, displayed on the Terminator X-max's 3.5" display screen. Also shown and demonstrated is how to change the displays layout and overall appearance to show more or less information as applies to one's individual requirements. These procedures are demonstrated on the boosted 408 LS in the 1980 Ford Thunderbird. This simple quick procedure applies to all LS engines controlled by the Terminator X-max or the Terminator ECU's.
