In this video presented in Pidgin English. Yours truly Pedro Apollos explain the importance of the consent of the Italian immigration department which the Italian Embassy abroad take into consideration before issuing a re-entry visa to anyone that has made such a request of them.
My advice to any foreigner living in Italy is to endeavour to remain in good standing as far as their immigration status is concern as it may it is an important way of measuring the immigration of the individual when they ask for a re-entry visa to Italy from abroad.
Contact Studio Legale Dayla Briganti for consultation on penal and Italian immigration issues, and residence permit. Tel: 353 440 2410. Address: Strada Naviglio Alto 4/1, Parma.

Italian Black AND A Feminist
In this episode i had the pleasure of discussing about the importance of feminism in the Italian black community. I enquire to know specifically if an African woman or her descendants living in Italy or in diaspora can claim to be feminists considering the history of colonialism and how its negative effects that continue to affect the lives of Africans till date.
Even if feminism has to be accepted by African women out of good faith with respect to what it proposes to achieve, are there any evidence as of today to prove that feminism has been of benefits to non white and European women. These and so many other points i discussed with my guest Yohamin Teshome Kumbi.
Yohamin Teshome Kumbi is the founder and president of La Mia Parte, a migrant and refugee led association that works on social inclusion of migrants and refugees in Italy
Yohamin Teshome Kumbi has a degree in Political Science and European Institutions and a master's degree in international relations and majoring in the areas and the use of Diplomacy.
Yohamin has worked for 15 years in the social and humanitarian sector focusing on Gender Parity, Migration and refugee leadership. She has taken part in various panels and round tables discussions relating to these topics at both the national and international levels.
She is a part of Place Emerging Leaders, a European network of Emerging Leaders.
She is also a member of UNIRE, the first Italian network of refugees and refugee-led associations in Italy focusing on advocacy and an active participation of refugees in the social life of their host communities, .
Yohamin is proud to be a woman, an African, an Italian, and described herself as a feminist. She is a feminist but not in the classic western way, and that is because she believes in the real tenets of multiculturalism.
Although born in Eritrea by Ethiopian parents and origin. She has lived in Italy since she was 9 years old.
Yohamin speaks 5 languages (Amharic, Tigrigna, french, English and Italian) and enjoy working on and finding solutions to challenging inter-cultural mediation issues. She is particularly passionate in studying and researching on topics relating to migration and gender.

MEN CREATES SINGLE MOTHERS
Some believe that if women wanted that they could have just terminate the pregnancy but that itself still do not esclude the fact that men create single mother that they themselves often do not want to choose as a life partner.
This is particularly common among men in diaspora that will at times get women pregnant and send them to other countries that is completely different from the woman that they currently live in.
This act alone leaves the women stranded and abandon in a country that they know little or nothing about but with a little to cater for.

WHEN WELFARE BENEFITS BREAKUP FAMILIES
Welfare benefits although not substantial enough to sustain the cost of living for the recipient families in most cases but can be used as a reason to breakup their families by some disgruntled recipients themselves.
Joy Albert and I during our discussion encourage our brothers and sisters in diaspora to think about the wellbeing of their children before nuking such a drastic decision as breaking up their families simply to qualify for more or to be the sole benefactor of the welfare economic assistance.

Respect and dialogue keeps a marriage
Nobody likes being disrespected and it becomes even more unbearable when the act of disrespect comes from our spouses. They are supposed to be the one to know us best we assumed, but as life and experience had shown, they are the ones to know us the least at times.
This disappointment at times coupled with our inability to communicate better leads to breakup of marriages. I do believe therefore that for a couple to succeed in their marriage there has to be a level of respect between them and a constant and intimate dialogue between the 2.

BEING A SINGLE MOTHER MAKES YOU VULNERABLE
People show grace and understanding to others when they believe that they understand them. Yes, that's exactly what i'm encouraging others to do before they criticised a single mother. Try to understand the circumstances that led them to make a life altering decision and it may surprise you to know about what happened to them even though that they owe no one an explanation

HOW MY BREAKTHROUGH CAME FROM MEETING MY ANGEL
In our discussion, Obinna Stanley talks about his days growing up in Nigeria, his family background and how he was able to find success in life and business with the help of other people that taught him how to trade in merchandise and helped connect him with suppliers across West Africa in his earlier days of business in Nigeria.
One important thing that he would like anyone to know about in this episode is the help he got in getting into the business world both in the city Aba in Abia State, Nigeria, and the woman that discovered him in his Church and gave him the first opportunity in his experience in the Nigerian economic terrain.
Obinna Stanley would go on to participate in the Igbo Apprenticeship Scheme where he lived for 7 years with his boss, a period in his life that proved very useful for him until this day. As he got the opportunity to learned everything that covers customer relations, Goods sourcing and procurement, dealing with suppliers, purchasing and supply.
He emphasised the importance of this training in his life and how his master took a very good care of him in that 7 years period and was responsible for all his living expenses. And upon the conclusion of the 7 years period his boss settled him by setting him up financially and materially, and at the same time put him in contact with his friends and business colleagues both in Nigeria and Ghana, and this led to business and financial breakthroughs for him.
Obinna Stanley now lives in Italy with his family and runs a Real Estate business in Nigeria, a coaching and training business in Italy where he assist, teach and give lessons to people concerning Italian drivers licence. And last but not the least, he also run a videography business called PhotoProf. He has written a book translating the manual of the Italian drivers licence into English and as at the time of recording our discussion he is working on his second book covering the same subject and which will be out before the end of the year.

THE CHALLENGES OF MODERN DAY PARENTING PART 2
In the second episode of the challenges of modern day parenting we focused our attention on the challenges facing us as parents and especially in dealing with our professional life and our responsibilities of managing the daily needs of our families.
Is it the responsibility of our employer to care about the wellbeing of our household?
How do we go back on equal footing with our colleagues when we had been away for maternity or paternity leave?
How do we manage domestic chores? How do we handle or continue to aim higher in our career when we have young children to care for?
I s there a perfect way to manage professional and personal life without one of them overbearing on the other?
These are some of the constant challenges facing parents today and i would like to know what your thoughts are in the comments.
Feel free to reach out to PEDRO APOLLOS PODCAST for comments, suggestions and for a feature on a topic of your choice.
We hope to hear from you, and we will be glad if you do so.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU CHECK ON YOUR FRIENDS
Make it a habit to check on your friends... This was my call to Tjasa Kastelic Asomani during my trip to the city of Prato in the Tuscany Region of Italy to represent UNIRE and participate in the festival of Sabir.
We talked about our time and experienced in Cyprus, the struggles and the challenging work that is needed to succeed both in private and professional life and every other thing in between where we were yesterday and where we are today.
And believe me we didn't leave the city of Prato without visiting a Chinese restaurant.

THE BURDEN OF BEING A SINGLE MOTHER TODAY
Most people have things to say about single mothers as if being a single is the greatest crime that exist in the world. One thing is however true that not all women that are single mothers intended or wanted their life to be that way from the onset, and that part is however missing in our discussion today.
I called on Joy Albert to discuss together what could be the reason why people shit and knock down single mother with every chance they get. To make matter worse, some of these people were raised by single mothers.

WHY MONEY SHOULD NOT BE THE REASON WE DON'T TALK TO OUR PARENTS
Some people consider calling their old parents as a waste of time because of the fact that there's no financial benefits attached to it.
Can fathers that have no financial gifts to give to their adult children be of any use to their children or not?
Do parents have a financial obligation to their adult children?
I have pondered upon these question ever since i encountered someone sometime ago that told me that he doesn't call his father because he has no financial gain to gain by calling his father. However, listen to Titus and Tajasa Kastelic Asomani's take on this issue.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU MISPLACE YOUR ITALIAN RESIDENCE PERMIT ABROAD
I did this video to help those that misplaced their Italian residence permit abroad to understand what they need to do in that difficult moment, and i hope that by following these simple steps, each and everyone of you will be able to return back to Italy within the shortest time possible.
Misplacing your permit of stay is different from your document getting expired outside of Italy. So when you get back to Italy all you need to do is to make a request to the Immigration department for a duplicate of your permit of stay. You do not ask for a renewal of permit of stay as most people believe it to be.
