How Scar Cat In Front Of Mirror
I've watched a cat's first encounter with her image in a mirror. At first she was quite interested, but then she started seriously sniffing around it. Then she lost interest and walked away.
Other cats likewise will usually ignore images in a mirror once they have some life experience. Kittens will go nuts with it, but kittens are very inexperienced and it is also hard to tell how much of their play is just due to their desire to take any excuse to run around and act crazy rather a real perceived other kitten in the mirror.
I saw the same thing when an impending cat fight was shown in a documentary, complete with all the threatening noises. Each time the documentary came on and got to that point, the resident cats came over to the little tv and went around it, sniffing, and then went off to pursue their hobbies. Didn't smell like cats fighting, so it wasn't. Otherwise they would have loved to watch the potential mayhem (as they do in real life if you have enough cats around to have conflicts

Lovely Cats Play In Bed And Slide On The Floor
Cats often enjoy perching on tables as it provides them with a higher vantage point, allowing them to observe their surroundings. It's a common behavior for cats to seek elevated spots for a sense of security and a better view. If you have concerns about them being on the table, providing alternative elevated spaces or using deterrents can help redirect their behavior.
Cats may also be attracted to tables due to their texture or warmth. Providing cozy cat beds or blankets in designated areas can entice them away from the table. It's essential to balance their natural behaviors with creating a harmonious living space. Regular play and interaction can also keep them mentally stimulated, reducing the likelihood of them seeking attention on the table.
