Just the smack. This is the short, to the point version of my Oh Deer video.

The Adventure Continues. I pass the halfway mark on this day.

Plenty of roadwalking gets me back to TH #10 for the night.

Today's highlight was the log crossing of the San Jacinto RIver.

Charlotte planted the seed and it matured. I stopped at the end of Section 7 where she picked me up and returned me the next morning. I'd resolve to add a few days to the walk so as to make each days hike fit the available daylight better.

The adventure continues!

After my anniversary camino in 2022, I took 4 of the available tours. This video is the result. To my dismay the "main entrance" was now a no touch, no photo tour. One of the most memorable moments from my first Camino was placing my hand in the imprint on the pillar (of which I have a photograph). This time I could only stare at it from behind a velvet rope.

I wasn't far away when I learned of places to camp and drive on the beach. Just wish there weren't so many mosquitoes. December 2023

Though it is not marketed as a survival knife, here is the survival system I built around the Cold Steel Master Hunter.
