Into the Twilight Zone: Near Death Encounters & Déjà vu - The Parker J Cole Show
I believe that of all faith groups, Christians should be the ones to readily accept instances of the supernatural. We serve a supernatural Lord who warns of spiritual warfare and beings that work to continue causing enmity between us and the Lord. Furthermore, the supernatural realm exists, and there are events that occur that cannot be explained by natural or material means. Should we ignore it?
Today, we delve into the Twilight Zone as I converse with my guest, podcast host Rod Smith Jr. from the Millennial Mustard Seed Podcast. We will discuss Near Death Encounters, déjà vu, aliens, and more. The reality is this: there are people out there who have experienced things they cannot explain. In some Christian circles, there is a complete rejection of these ideas, with some avoiding any discussion of them. What do you do when you have no one to talk to after having had an encounter with the supernatural? Furthermore, why does the Lord allow some people to experience these things? Perhaps there is a purpose behind it, and if so, what is it?

Into the Twilight Zone Part 2: Dreams, Nightmares, and Electric Sheep
We received an overwhelmingly positive response to our series, 'Into the Twilight Zone,' featuring my co-host, podcaster Rod Smith Jr. from the Millennial Mustard Seed Podcast. Due to the overwhelming interest, I have invited him back for part two.
As previously mentioned, I firmly believe that Christians should embrace the reality of the supernatural, including spiritual warfare and the hidden agendas intertwined with it. In today's episode, we delve into the possible connection between our dreams, nightmares, and artificial intelligence. We will explore how artificial intelligence may plays a role. It's a trippy episode and I hope you'll come with us for another ride on the rollercoaster into the odd, the strange, and the supernatural.
Join us on this journey into the Twilight Zone on Monday, October 30th, at the special time of 6 pm Eastern time. What Aliens Teach Us About God (Original Air Date -- June 29, 2018)
Science fiction often shows aliens as an exaggerated form of human being, which can actually help us understand God.
Tonight's show is derived from a series of blog posts by a very good friend of mine, Travis Perry. I'm a huge fan of his insight into a variety of things. In particular, this series combined by love of sci-fi aliens with my love for Christ. You may ask, 'How in the world do aliens, you know, the creatures with the four toes, the one eye, the tentacles, the magical powers, and the spaceships, teach us about God?"
In what I think is simply brilliance, Travis takes the ATTRIBUTES of what we consider ALIEN and shows us how they're not so ALIEN after all. In fact, the one Being who is truly ALIEN to us is the one who loves us the most, the God of the Bible.
Think we're drinking the Kool-Aid? Well, join me and listen to this insightful show with Travis and myself.
TRAVIS PERRY was born in Montana and raised in that state. He has contributed to numerous short story collections including Stories From a Soldiers Heart, Aquasynthesis, Aquasynthesis Again, Avenir Eclectia Volume 1, Colony Zero, No Revolution Too Big, Medieval Mars, Victorian Venus and Avatars of Web Surfer. As a publisher and owner of Bear Publications he has helped get in print a number of short story collections and several novels. An Army Reserve officer who deployed for the Gulf War and later to Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, and Central America, his writing reflects his lifelong interest in science fiction and fantasy, his strong Christian beliefs, and his knowledge of modern warfare.

Why Aren't there More Christian Literary or Realism Fiction Books?
Generally speaking, Christian fiction gets a bad rep. Some readers mistakenly associate the genre with Amish romance, while others believe that every Christian fiction work must convey a salvation message. There's also a perception that it can be dull, predictable, and filled with one-dimensional characters, such as holy saints and evil atheists who receive divine punishment. I believe this misrepresentation has its roots in the traditional approach of mainstream Christian publishers, which often leaned towards a more conservative style of storytelling.
However, I have always believed that Christian fiction isn't safe fiction. Join me in a discussion with Patrick E. Craig as we delve into the significance of realism in Christian fiction.
