Life 3.0 by Max Tegmark
Max Tegmark says that we can classify life on Earth into three main stages according to the dominant organisms and the degree of complexity of development. The first stage of life, the writer called it Life 1.0, which is the biological life. In which microorganisms such as bacteria lacked the ability to learn and develop, as the DNA of bacteria contained the entire programming of their behavior and the functions of their organs, which made it impossible for bacteria to learn how to modify or change their behavior in their life time. The closest form of learning and adaptation at that time was the concept of development, which by itself took generations and generations until its impact became clear
The second stage is the Cultural Life 2.0, in which the influence of man appeared, who had the ability to learn unlike the simple creatures that preceded him. A person can adapt and rearrange his thoughts according to the knowledge and experience he acquires day after day. Therefore, he makes his life decisions using this knowledge
The last stage the writer called it the theoretical life 3.0, which is the life in which technology becomes able to change and develop itself through the design of its programs or devices. This stage of life has not appeared on the surface of the Earth yet, but the emergence of artificial intelligence applications give us signs for this coming era of theoretical life.
Bit to remember: The applications of artificial intelligence that we see today, are just signs of a new era in which technology prevails on the surface of the earth.

Everything is F by Mark Manson (Book Summary)
Throughout the ages, the concept of hope has been the main motivator that makes people get out of bed in the morning and keep their perseverance and determination during the most difficult moments in their lives, whether it is for a better future for themselves, their families, their countries or for the generations that will come after them. Hope is undoubtedly a powerful driver of human behavior. In his book Everything is fucked, Mark Manson explains the concept of hope and how this concept has been a motivation and a relief for so many people through the darkest moments of human history. By explaining the concept, Mark brings to our attention the fact that hope is fundamentally linked to the future, and that for so many people in the world, our present time is better than ever. Today's facts and figures show us that the rates of violence, racism, poverty, child mortality and war are the lowest ever in history. As a result, feelings of hope began to diminish around the world and were replaced by feelings of anxiety and fear of losing all the progress and prosperity that humanity has achieved in this era. This may help in explaining why anxiety and depression rates have risen in the United States over the past 30 years despite the rapid economic and technological development.
Bit to remember: In the most difficult times throughout history, hope has helped us to get up and develop ourselves, but it may not be the best motivator in the good times.

The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene [Part 3] (Book Summary)
In May 1925, five of the most successful metal and scrap dealers in France received an invitation from Mr. Lustig, Deputy General Director of the Ministry of Posts and Telegraphs, who invited them to an official and top secret meeting at the Hotel Crillon, which was the most luxurious hotel in Paris at that time, and the meeting was in the most luxurious suites of the hotel, on the top floor.
After giving them the finest food and drink, Mr. Lastigue told them the reason of the meeting: "Gentlemen, the case is urgent and requires complete secrecy. The government will have to destroy the Eiffel Tower." Then he explained to them that the government wants to make reforms in different sectors, and that destroying the tower and selling it would have a great impact in helping the government achieve this goal. He then asked each one of them to make an offer to buy and destroy the Eiffel Tower.
In order for the Dealers to make correct and accurate offers, Mr. Lustig gave them official documents containing the numbers and weights of the tower's metals. The dealers were very happy with this generous offer from the government, as this offer may be the opportunity of a lifetime and through it, they will be able to make huge profits. After that, Mr. Lustig took the dealers into a limousine and took them to the Eiffel Tower for a field visit. After the visit, each one of them was asked to bring their offers within four days. A few days later, one of the five dealers received a message that says that he had won this deal, and he had to bring the required amount within two days. The dealer was pleased with this news, as he would be mentioned in the history books as the man who bought the Eiffel Tower and destroyed it.
On the big day, the dealer delivered the required amount of money, and in return, Mr. Lustig gave him the official documents of the tower, and the dealer left the hotel dreaming of the profits and fame he would get from this deal. After a few days, the dealer began to realize that there was something wrong, so he contacted the ministry and he found that there is no deputy director whose name is Lustig, and there are no plans to destroy the Eiffel Tower, and the dealer was the victim of one of the largest fraud cases in history. From this story, we can say that both courage and hesitation have different reactions, as courage removes consequences, while hesitation creates many consequences in its path.
Bit to remember: Enter Action with boldness.

How to Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie
Sometimes we find ourselves crying over the past, or we feel uncertain about the future, both of which leave us in an exhausting psychological anxiety. Few of us realize the damage that can occur to our health as a result of this excessive worry that can lead in the end to physical illness.
The two famous doctors, Charles Mayo and William Mayo, who were best known for founding the Mayo Clinic in the United States, once found that more than half of the hospital beds were filled by people suffering from frustration, anxiety and desperation.
Arthritis, for example, is the most common ailment that anxiety can cause. There are also medical conditions that indicate that anxiety can increase the possiblity of insanity and diabetes.
Despite the popular belief, anxiety is actually something that can be easily overcome. In this book, Dale Carnegie says that there are two options for overcoming anxiety:
The first option is to focus your attention on the present, which means, to live your day without looking at what happened in the past and without worrying about what might happen in the future. The best preparation for tomorrow is in the mastery of today's work.
As for the second option is to ask yourself: What is the worst-case scenario that could happen to you? Could you lose your job? To end up imprisoned? Or broke? Then, accept this worst-case scenario. Assume for a moment that the worst is what will happen. This worst-case scenario probably isn't that bad, and you can probably get out of it. For example, if you lose your job, you can always find another one. Once you accept this worst-case scenario, you will likely feel more calm, in order to find solutions for how to overcome your anxiety.

Men are from Mars Women are from Venus by John Grey - Part 2
Dr. John Gray in the book Men from Mars and Women from Venus provides us with innovative ideas in the field of human relations between men and women, as this book is one of the most important and most famous books in understanding the opposite sex, as Dr. John begins his book with the assumption that men were living on the planet Mars, while women were living on the planet Venus, and one day men were looking through their binoculars and discovered the people of Venus, which awakened feelings and emotions they had never felt, and quickly the men invented spaceships and flew to Venus. The Venusians welcomed the Martians, as they knew that this day would come, and hearts were wide open to a love they had never felt before. The Martians and the Venusians were very happy to be together, as the love between them was magical, even though they were from different worlds and far apart planets. The Martians and Venusians spent many months learning and exploring the needs, preferences and patterns of the opposite sex, as they found their differences very enjoyable, and lived with each other in love and happiness. After that, the Martians and the Venusians decided to travel to the planet earth, as they heard about its beauty and charm, and when they reached it, the earth's atmosphere affected them. One morning, men and women suffered from selective amnesia, as they forgot that they came from different worlds, and each gender has different characteristics, needs and traits, and from that day the conflict started between men and women.
Bit to remember: Men and women are from far apart worlds, with different natures, characteristics and behaviours.

Forty By Ahmed Al Shugairi – Part 1
After reaching the age of forty-two, Ahmed Al-Shugairi made a decision to isolate himself for forty days, which he spent on a remote island in the Pacific Ocean, away from the hustle of life and the distractions of technology.
Al-Shugairi made the decision to isolate himself after he came to the conviction of the importance of this type of experience in achieving spiritual ascension and improving the connection with God. So he decided to go to a private place, on an isolated island, alone, away from modern means of communication such as mobile phones and Internet, and away from family and friends. Al-Shugairi’s goals of this isolation were to release the soul from the distractions of the daily life, so that the mind can be free of distractions and the soul gets rid of the complexes and internal conflicts. As Al-Shugairi wanted to crown his forty-two years of age with an isolation that would help him in his pursuit towards self-discipline, quitting some bad habits, and reaching a state of inner peace or a "reassuring soul", it would also help him to clear his mind in order to evaluate the past and plan for the future.
And regarding choosing forty days, Al-Shugairi believes that this period of isolation is capable of causing a radical change in his life, and that this number has been repeated several times in the Qur’an and the Bible, and it has been linked to many events that have caused radical changes at the level of individuals and societies, such as the flood in the story of Noah, and the meeting of God with Moses, and the loss of the Israelite people in the desert. And as it was mentioned in the Qur’an that a person reaches the peak of his giving at the age of fourty.
The result of this isolation was that Al-Shugairi wrote this book, which contains ten chapters, each of which includes forty articles, the chapters in their titles vary between narrating the events of the forty days that the writer spent and listing several topics, including his life, his god, the Qur’an, his books, himself, people judging, The improvements he plans for his life, his memories, and some stories and wisdom from life. In this summary, we will shed light on some of the ideas and topics that Al-Shugairi narrated in his Book Forty.
Bit to remember: Just as a computer is sent to be repaired in order to get rid of viruses, also being alone or isolated is like re-preparing and treating oneself.

The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy (Book Summary)
When you start learning a specific skill like driving a car or a bike, for example, it will likely require you to focus your conscious mind. But after a period of time and with practice, your subconscious mind begins to control this skill and its practices become a natural or automatic task that does not require you to focus your conscious mind. This is a great example of conscious training for your subconscious mind, in order to harness your subconscious mind to work for you, all you have to do is to train it by repeating positive and conscious thoughts.
An example of the power of the subconscious mind is the Scottish surgeon James Esdell. In the nineteenth century he performed nearly 400 surgeries, all before the science of anaesthesia was developed. Yet the death rate in his operations was incredibly low, as it reached only two or three percent. And all this because of his technique in convincing his patients that the operations would be successful without suffering any infection or side effects. This technique was sufficient to stimulate the response of the subconscious minds of the patients and therefore their body's response as well.
The author of the book, Dr. Murphy, was the first founder of the power of subconscious mind movement. Many philosophers, psychologists and sociologists adopted it after him in many countries of the world. Dr. Murphy was able to help thousands of men and women to change their boring, monotonous and sometimes debilitating lives to a life full of vitality, morals and wealth.
Dr. Murphy's principles are not theoretical principles. Rather, they are based on concepts that are proven by time, and supported by examples from reality. Countless people who have applied these principles have learned how to get out of their lives the most they want.

Future Shaping and Making It by Ahmed Hindawy, Saleh Al Hamory, and Rola Maaytah - Part 2
Foresight expert and consultant Suleiman Al Kaabi defines “foresight” as a structured, participatory, multidisciplinary approach to explore the driving force of change and future alternatives that range between the medium and long term. Foresight includes drawing a proactive approach and adopting different scenarios that can be transformed into reality by taking decisions at the present time. It is worth noting that future foresight does not aim to fix or reduce the mistakes of the past, but rather focuses intensely on building the future which we aspire. Foresight is distinguished from other studies of the future by four basic characteristics, first: Foresight is action-oriented, as analytical studies that cannot be transformed into actions or cannot be linked to actions cannot be considered as a part of the foresight, as foresight focuses on acts and actions that can be applied and which in turn will shape the future more effectively. Secondly, it is open towards the alternative future, as this science is based on the fact that the future is not inevitable, and therefore the future can develop in different directions, and it is our current decisions that will have the largest role in reaching the desired future. Third: Foresight is described as participatory, as it must be done by a large group of experts and academics, which allows obtaining a better feedback, and finally: foresight is multidisciplinary, as the different challenges and problems that we usually face need experts in different fields so that it can be understood and therefore, we can reach the ideal solution.

The Death of Expertise - Tom Nichols
Since the beginning of time, access to information and news has been one of the things that disturbed people on a daily basis. As Man, regardless of his culture and the time in which he lives, remains in an urgent need of knowledge and awareness of everything that happens around him, whether in his society or in the world as a whole. In the past, access to information and news was very difficult, due to the scarcity of news sources and the fact that they were under the control of certain institutions or persons. At that time, checking and verifying the truth was impossible, especially for the normal person.
The ongoing debate is still raging between experts and ordinary people. When any topic is discussed, we find two contradictory parties. The first is the intellectuals who believe that the common people do not understand anything, and the other is the ordinary people who do not trust anyone who claims to be an expert.
With the advent of the Internet in the twentieth century, a quantum leap occurred in the field of spreading and discussing news, science, and facts, therefore this raised the heightened conflict between the opinions of experts and the opinions of ordinary people.
With the dawn of search engines such as Google and social media such as Twitter and Facebook, you can access any information in a matter of seconds by browsing Google, and Twitter brings you news from all over the world even before it is published by the most prestigious newspapers or international news agencies. This paradigm shift has placed great power and extraordinary authority in the hands of public opinion in various fields.
For example, the great debates that we see on the Internet receive great attention, despite the fact that they contradict proven scientific facts. The most famous of these may be the debate about the fact that the Earth is flat, which is a topic that is attracting a wide audience on the Internet day after day, or the discussion about vaccinations given to children, and the false allegations that they are harmful and may cause the emergence of autism in children. All this is despite years of continuous scientific research to refute these misconceptions among the general public. What is more, is that the craze of social media has enabled famous people (such as media professionals and film actors) to wrongly influence public opinion about information and topics that don’t relate to them and that they do not have enough experience to speak about them in public.
Bit to remember: The revolution of the Internet and social media provoked the conflict between experts and the general public, and provided platforms for the transmission of false information.

Do you keep jumping from hobby to hobby every few months? Are you still trapped in a bad job, one that has already run its course? There is hope, though: this book will help you find a specialized but heterogeneous profession-one that takes into account your best talents, your passions, and the need of monetization. The 5 AM Club by Robin Sharma
Buy the book from amazon:

Many great people throughout history, from the novelist John Grisham to the musician Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, have realized that the loneliness that a person has upon waking up at 5 in the morning has a multiplier effect on his level of performance of various functions and daily tasks.
Each of us has a limited brain power or a limited ability to focus and limited mental effort that we can exert during the day. And throughout the day, our attention is directed to more and more things like work, news, communication with others, and social media. Our intellectual capacity is consumed by all of these things, so when it’s time for lunch, we can no longer focus on anything. And by constantly shifting our focus from one thing to another, we cannot give a certain thing enough attention. But if you wake up at 5 AM, it becomes a golden opportunity to focus on a specific valuable activity without your mind getting distracted by other things.
When you enjoy starting your day in a calm and peaceful way at 5 am, the prefrontal cortex, that’s responsible for logical thinking, is temporarily shut down. So your tendency towards analysis, stress, and anxiety is weak at that time. At the same time, the calm at dawn stimulates the neurotransmitters to produce dopamine and serotonin. As a result, the person naturally enters into a state of mental flow that is formed through a phase of complete mental vitality and focus. And it is just like the state of mind that the elite artists and scientists enter in their best moments of mental clarity. So you'll find that if you wake up at 5 AM you'll be more focused and productive for the whole day.

The Captain Class by Sam Walker (Book Summary)
Buy the book from amazon:
https://amzn.to/3qTwMtc
Several years ago, Sam Walker set out to answer one of the most hotly debated questions in sports: What are the greatest teams of all time? He devised a formula, then applied it to thousands of teams from leagues all over the world, from the NFL to the English Premier League to Olympic field hockey. When he was done, he had a list of the sixteen most dominant teams ever, period. At that point, he became obsessed with another, more complicated question: What did these freak teams have in common?
As Walker dug more deeply, a pattern emerged: Each team had the same type of captain—a singular leader who drove it to sustained, historic periods of greatness.
Fuelled by a lifetime of sports spectating, twenty years of reporting, and a decade of painstaking research, The Captain Class tells the surprising story of what makes teams exceptional. Drawing on original interviews with athletes from two dozen countries, as well as general managers, coaches, executives, and others skilled at building teams, Walker identifies the seven core qualities of this Captain Class – from doggedness and the knack for nonverbal communication to aggression and the courage to speak truth to power.
Told through riveting accounts of some of the most pressure-soaked moments in sports history – from Bill Russell’s legendary 'Coleman Play' in the 1957 NBA Finals to Barcelona’s 'Figo Game' against Real Madrid in 2000 – The Captain Class doesn’t just bring these events to life; it presents a fresh, counterintuitive take on leadership that can be applied to a wide spectrum of competitive disciplines.
The sixteen leaders who make up the Captain Class were never the most skilled, nor were they paragons of sportsmanship. They were often role players, allergic to the spotlight, and famously inarticulate. In short, they will challenge your assumptions of what inspired leadership looks like.

Good to Great by Jim Collins - Part 2 (Book Summary)
Buy the book from amazon:
https://amzn.to/44vnu4b
For years, a question has been on the mind of the book’s author Jim Collins which is: What are the most important factors that enable good, medium and even bad companies to turn into great companies in the long run? What are the things that these companies do in order to be different from their competitors in the market? In order to be able to answer this question, Jim decided to form a scientific research team to study its various reasons. Using strict criteria, Jim and his team selected a group of elite companies that turned from good to great and that jumped to great results and maintained them for a long time, as the research stated that a company is considered a great company if it can achieve cumulative returns of shares that beat the general stock market at an average of three times in fifteen years, and this is considered better than the results achieved by international famous companies such as Coca-Cola, Intel and General Electric. After more than 15,000 hours of work, the team managed to reach the model that explains the most important factors that transform companies into great companies, as the model shows that the idea of transformation is a process of growth followed by a boom, and it is divided into three main stages which are: disciplined people, disciplined thought, and disciplined implementation, and in these stages, the work team created 6 basic concepts that enable companies to transform from good to great, which are: the concept of level 5 leadership, "Who first ... then Why", "face the hard facts", "the Hedgehog concept”, “Discipline Culture,” “Technology Accelerators.”

21 Lessons for the 21st Century by Yuval Noah Harari
Buy the book from amazon:
https://amzn.to/3OWLmbh
21 Lessons For the 21st Century provides a kind of instruction manual for the present day to help readers find their way around the 21st century, to understand it, and to focus on the really important questions of life. Once again, Harari presents this in the distinctive, informal, and entertaining style that already characterized his previous books. The topics Harari examines in this way include major challenges such as international terrorism, fake news, and migration, as well as turning to more personal, individual concerns, such as our time for leisure or how much pressure and stress we can take. 21 Lessons for the 21st Century answers the overarching question: What is happening in the world today, what is the deeper meaning of these events, and how can we individually steer our way through them? whether nationalism can help solve problems like global warming. Few writers of non-fiction have captured the imagination of millions of people in quite the astonishing way Yuval Noah Harari has managed, and in such a short space of time. His unique ability to look at where we have come from and where we are going has gained him fans from every corner of the globe. There is an immediacy to this new book which makes it essential reading for anyone interested in the world today and how to navigate its turbulent waters.

Understanding Nutrition by Ellie Whitney (Book Summary)
Buy the book from amazon:

Nutrition science is defined as the science that studies the nature and effect of food on the human body, as nutrition and health are closely related, so good and proper nutrition means a continuous nutritional state that enables a person to enjoy good health, which is the result of the mutual influence between health status and dietary pattern, and the physical, social and economic environment. And in order for a person to be well nourished, he must obtain a balanced quantity and percentage of various food compounds, which include proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, mineral salts and water. Proteins, carbohydrates and fats are considered the main source of energy and calories production through which a person can perform vital processes such as breathing, movement, kidney and brain functions, as one gram of carbohydrates or proteins produces 4 calories, while one gram of fats produces 9 calories. The total number of calories required per day varies from one person to another as it depends on the height, weight, age, activity and growth. Calories are defined as the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of one gram of water by one degree Celsius. The required number of grams of energy-boosting foods depends on the dietary pattern and the desired goal of nutrition, for example if a person needs 2,200 calories a day and follows a diet in which the percentage of protein is 40%, the carbohydrates is 30% and the fats is 30%, then by a simple calculation, the daily number of grams this person needs will be 220 grams for proteins, 165 grams for carbohydrates, and 73 grams for fats.
And it should be noted that calories are of great importance in determining a person’s weight gain or loss, For example, if we assume that a person needs 2000 calories a day, then he eats foods that produce more than 2000 calories per day, so his weight will start to increase, while if he ate less food that produces fewer calories than his daily requirement, his weight will start to decrease.

Factfulness: Ten Reasons We're Wrong About the World – and Why Things Are Better Than You Think is a 2018 book by Swedish statistician Hans Rosling with his son Ola Rosling and daughter-in-law Anna Rosling Rönnlund. In the book, Rosling suggests that the vast majority of people are wrong about the state of the world. He demonstrates that his test subjects believe the world is poorer, less healthy, and more dangerous than it actually is, attributing this not to random chance but to misinformation.

Start With Why by Simon Sinek (Book Summary)
Buy the book from amazon:
https://amzn.to/3En8Wcc
In 2009, Simon Sinek started a movement to help people become more inspired at work, and in turn inspire their colleagues and customers. Since then, millions have been touched by the power of his ideas, including more than 28 million who've watched his TED Talk based on START WITH WHY -- the third most popular TED video of all time.
Sinek starts with a fundamental question: Why are some people and organizations more innovative, more influential, and more profitable than others? Why do some command greater loyalty from customers and employees alike? Even among the successful, why are so few able to repeat their success over and over?
People like Martin Luther King Jr., Steve Jobs, and the Wright Brothers had little in common, but they all started with WHY. They realized that people won't truly buy into a product, service, movement, or idea until they understand the WHY behind it.
START WITH WHY shows that the leaders who've had the greatest influence in the world all think, act, and communicate the same way -- and it's the opposite of what everyone else does. Sinek calls this powerful idea The Golden Circle, and it provides a framework upon which organizations can be built, movements can be led, and people can be inspired. And it all starts with WHY.

How Creation Began by Amr Sherif (Book Summary)

At some point in the past, more than 13.7 billion years ago, the universe and everything it contained was limited to a very small point called the “singularity”, which has a size and radius of zero, while its density and temperature were very high, reaching infinity, and as a result of an event, this singularity exploded generating energy and the universe began to expand in various directions, and at that moment the four forces that govern the universe were generated, which are the strong nuclear force, the weak nuclear force, the electromagnetic force and the force of gravity. Because of this expansion, the temperature of the universe began to decrease until it reached 10 billion degrees, which is a temperature that exceeds the temperature of the Sun's core by thousands of times, Consequently, part of the energy of the explosion condensed and turned into elementary subatomic particles such as photons, quarks, electrons and neutrons, and the collision of these elementary particles with each other led to the formation of new subatomic particles.
A few seconds later after the explosion, the temperature of the universe decreased more and reached a billion degrees, then the strong nuclear force, which is considered a short range attraction force, started to bind the protons and the neutrons together, forming the nuclei of atoms, as in the beginning the nuclei of heavy hydrogen atoms that contain one proton and one neutron has been formed. And then, the universe continued to expand and the temperature continued to decrease, until it reached 3 thousand degrees, then the electromagnetic forces of attraction began to make the positively charged nuclei combine with negative electrons to form atoms, so the first atom that was formed was the hydrogen atom, which later formed more than 75% From the mass of the universe. When the age of the universe reached a billion years, the temperature decreased more and more and became almost equal to the current temperature of the universe, and more parts of the universe began to condense and form what is known as cosmic clouds or cosmic dust, which began to cluster by the force of gravity and therefore its density increased as it started to rotate around itself And with that, galaxies began to form. And after the completion of 9 billion years after the creation of the universe, our "Milky Way" galaxy was created.

Power of Self Mastery by Ibrahim ElFiky (Book Summary)
Buy the book from amazon:

Frequently, you hear voices coming from within you and talking to you, so when you wake up in the morning to go to work, you hear two voices arguing inside you, one urging you to get out of bed and get ready for work, and the other advises you to ignore the first sound and go back to sleep. This is how we are as human beings, we always talk to ourselves. And the main problem about the human talking with himself is that most of these conversations are about negative thoughts that generate anxiety and negative feelings, so you think negatively about the presentation that you should present to your department in the company or the result of the exam that you studied for long hours. The strange thing is that studies show that more than 93% of the events that we think it will cause negative feelings will never happen, and that 7% of them cannot be controlled, such as the weather or the death. There are five basic sources of self-talk or self-programming, the first are the parents, you may see many parents using phrases such as: You are lazy, You are a disorganized person, can’t you do anything as it should be. There is also a study by Shad Helmstetter in his book “What to say when you talk to yourself?” shows that a person who lived in a reasonably positive family would have received during the first 18 years of his life 148,000 messages containing the word "no", whereas positive messages in the same period of time did not exceed 400 times. And as of the second source, it is the school, where the student spends most of his day there, and friends are considered the third source for self-programming, as the transmission of negative habits between them is substantial and significant, for example studies show that most of the people who were attracted to the smoking habit were influenced by other people and that when they are aged between 8-15 years. As for the fourth source, It is the media, you find many people imitating singers and actors and considering them as their role models in life, and finally, the fifth source is yourself, as you, and after a certain period of time, you build your thoughts and opinions about the world that revolves around you.
