Chain & Sprockets Replacement How-To - Almost Any Bike! - KDX220 - YZ250X
Every section is indexed if you want to jump to any particular area! I show how to do the chain and sprockets on almost any dirt bike. This includes removal of circlip and pressed master link chains and circlip and nut retained counter shaft sprockets. I don't ever used riveted master link chains so there will NOT be the installation of one covered here. The two bikes I used are my '98 Kawasaki KDX220 and my buddy's '18 Yamaha YZ250X.

This is mainly a general ride vid. However, I do add in a lot about my 2nd ride adjustments, that I messed up, and a huge milestone for me since my accident.

NOHVCC Great Trails Workshop, How To Get New Trails, And Your OHV Decal Dollars
Over the past weekend, March 20-21, I attended an NOHVCC Great Trails workshop held at the Santa Rita Experimental Research Station (classroom) and then at the Red Spring trail system (field) near Amado, AZ. Basically, this is me talking a little bit about the workshop and a lot of rambling on about OHV decal dollars and what I know and believe it takes to get new trail and keep existing areas. To back me up, I've included three presentations talking about building relationships/partnerships to accomplish these goals along with lessons learned from our first trail project. I will also be uploading the three presentations without my ramblings for those who just want to get to the meat of what we learned from building new trails.

220Ride Gummy Rear & Tusk Recon Front - My First Look Review
It was time for new tires so I purchased a Ride220 120/100-18 gummy rear and a Tusk Recon 90/100-21 front tire. More to come on these tires as I get my first ride on them soon.

Tucson Dirt Riders, Hero Dirt, and Being Spodes! - KDX220
My main riding bro is out for a while after having hernia surgery so was planning to ride solo. However, Tracy (a lady I helped teach to ride) was going to lead a group of Tucson Dirt Riders (TDR) members on a ride so I figured I would help lead them around. TDR is a Facebook group local to the Tucson area. Look them up if you want to find someone to ride with.
Got a flat about midway through but the Tubliss and Goldentyre fatty were doing their jobs and it didn't slow me down too much. Yes, I continued to ride on a completely flat front tire. Even got up to 61mph on the dirt road on that flat with no issues!
Between the hero dirt, very low dust, riding with new/newer riders, and my Tubliss/Goldentyre combo, it was a great day riding!

Just wanting some feedback on how well I can be heard along with testing recording, editing, and rendering 2.7k footage. Also seeing if it looks any better on Youtube.

Part II covers the Tangerine trail. I talk about always working on bettering my skills and why I ride the stuff I'm not good at or don't like.
--- Please read my update below and give your input! ---
This vid shows only one section as the length of the first video was way too long IMO. I wanted to break them down in to more manageable viewing sizes. I have also been playing with video stabilization and color grading so please let me know how it looks to you. I also have figured out how to actually get nice looking video quality on Youtube and future recordings will reflect that. I'm really trying to make my channel better and better!

The Full Team Marlboro Loop (Plus Unhinged AMA Rant) - Part I - KDX220
This video is the first in showing the complete 38 mile Team Marlboro Loop. This a loop we pieced together from existing trails, loops, and roads to help us prepare for racing. This installment has my "passionate" rant about the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and it's new rule of cameras not being mounted to helmets.

TRS New Year's Day Ride - KDX220
We headed out on our annual New Year's day TRS club ride held in San Manuel, AZ. We split in to two groups, one headed North to the gnar and my small group stayed on the race course. In this video I cover some of the same trail from my last San Manuel video but cover a lot I didn't get last time like Mt, Lansky and "The Waterfall". Hope you enjoy it and have a great 2021!

These are not any kind of affiliate links and I make no money from this app. I personally use this app and think it's useful if riding in areas with good cell phone service.

For areas without cell service I suggest reading this article to help get you started on your research into a satellite locator. It is from a company that sells them but it contains some very useful information in to how they work and various features: https://www.greenbelly.co/pages/best-personal-locator-beacons-satellite-messengers

Riding With The New Generation - KDX220
This Sunday we helped a buddy out with showing some younger rides what singletrack riding is. I was very impressed by all of them. The 9yo girl impressed me for only having been riding for a month yet was out there riding real singletrack and didn't once complain! Anyway, the kids had a blast and so did we. Sadly, I didn't get the best footage overall as my Gopro was being finicky yet again.
The Infamous KDX Petcock - Repair or Replace
Update on fitment. I didn't notice until I rode today but last time I changed my jetting I didn't get my carb installed straight up. The top is canted to the fuel line side so it should have more clearance once I straighten it back up this week. That said, it works perfectly.
How to repair the fuel barb on or replace the '89-'06 KDX petcock. The Yamaha petcock I used is part# 2GU-24500-02.
