Riding the "11 Mile" loop on my Christmas day ride. Talking about riding alone and using your brakes.

These are not any kind of affiliate links and I make no money from this app. I personally use this app and think it's useful if riding in areas with good cell phone service.

For areas without cell service I suggest reading this article to help get you started on your research into a satellite locator. It is from a company that sells them but it contains some very useful information in to how they work and various features: https://www.greenbelly.co/pages/best-personal-locator-beacons-satellite-messengers

My normal load out when I hit the trail is...
2L hydration pack
1/4" drive ratchet, 6" extension, 8, 10, 12, 13, and 14mm sockets
mini vice-grips
three allen wrenches that cover every allen bolt on my bikes
combo phillips/flat head screwdriver
tire plug kit
small scissors
pack of zip ties
electrical tape
tweezers
cholla comb
3-4 recovery gel packs
