Israel's History of Massacres - Israel Gaza Hospital Massacres
Israel's History of Massacres - Israel Gaza Hospital Massacres.
Israel’s massacre on the al-Ahli al-Arab hospital in Gaza on Tuesday night by air strike was not the first of Israel’s mass killings of civilians.
Since 1948 Israel has built up a track record of massacres and mass killings of civilians. From the Deir Yassin massacre just before the creation of the state of Israel, to the mass killing of workers in Kafr Qasim in 1956.
At the time of Tuesday's devastating strike, the Anglican-run hospital in Gaza was providing treatment and shelter to hundreds of Palestinians wounded and displaced by Israel's 11-day war on the besieged enclave.
We take a look at just a few of Israel’s historic massacres.

"Hospitals risk turning into morgues" as no power leaves Gaza's doctor at breaking point
"Hospitals risk turning into morgues" as no power leaves Gaza's doctor at breaking point.
Gaza's largest hospital told ITV News it is full and can't take any more new patients, while their generator only has a few days of power left.
"Without electricity, hospitals risk turning into morgues,” warned Fabrizio Carboni, regional director of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
When power runs out, it puts "newborns in incubators and elderly patients on oxygen at risk. Kidney dialysis stops, and X-rays can’t be taken,” he said.
More than half of patients are children. The hospital is so overwhelmed that critical care is being conducted on corridor floors.

Gaza's only cancer hospital could close, around 9,000 patients to be affected
Gaza's only cancer hospital could close, around 9,000 patients to be affected.
The only hospital for cancer treatment in Gaza says it could be forced to shut down because of Israel's continued siege.
The Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital has already stopped some services like radiology.
The fuel and medical aid shortages are affecting some 9,000 cancer patients who have nowhere else to go for treatment. The hospital is currently operating on a single local generator.
Dr. Subhi Skeyk Director of The Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital inside Gaza talks more about this.
