A new development in Ukrainian war: an FPV kamikaze drone controlled through fiber-optic cable
The most common countermeasures against FPV drones and loitering munition are jammer units placed above important targets or encapsulated as backpack omnidirectional jammer systems for infantry units. These devices jam the command and/or the drone's video link up to the point of losing the communication feeds. As a direct result, the drone operator cannot see (the real-time video transmission) and guide the drone to make immediate decisions and corrections on the fly, especially on the last part of the drone's flight path. But this approach begins to be no longer feasible.
Why? You can find a potential answer in this video.

Switching the working modes on DJI FPV Goggles V2: DJI FPV mode vs. DJI Drone mode
DJI FPV Goggles V2 is a fantastic high definition, low latency, mid-distance transmission, and anti-interference solid goggle.
But it has two working modes … and in my case, it switched from DJI FPV mode to DJI Drone mode without any warning when I built a new drone, and many power up – power down cycles were done.
This short video presents how to switch from one mode to another.

TX16S: displaying the battery level on OpenTX & EdgeTX – percentage [%] and value [voltage]
This video is a short tutorial that present two ways to display the battery level on a TX16S transmitter running OpenTX.
MORE INFO:
1. In this video, I have Li-Ion. If you search the net, they consider that 3.0V must be the cutoff at room temperature. But, you go to the outside where can be wind and low temperature - the winter is coming 🙂. So, I decided that to take a more conservative value of 3.2V. I have 2 elements, so I choose 6.4V.
2. If you use a Li-Po battery, the voltage must not be below 3.5V per cell. Even so, many recommend not being below 3.6V. In conclusion, if you use Li-Po use 72 as a minimum value.

Tracking a drone (Betaflight) in real-time on a map – using a Wi-Fi connection to TBS Crossfire TX
If you want to track in real-time your drone or if you're going to spot the area of a crash or the location of an emergency landing visually or if you want to track your drone on the map in real-time even if the VTX link is lost and you triggered the return to home function, then this video is for you.
All the configuration steps are presented in this video to achieve the previously presented goals.

If you can get only the "MAVLink in emulation" mode, this happens because you do not receive correct and real MAVLink data to your TBS Crossfire TX. So, check the following: 1. The connexon is correctly done between FC and TBS Crossfire RX - TX to RX and RX to TX. 2. Check that the wires are not broken, 3. Check on the FC and TBS Crossfire RX if you don't have a soldering bridge between TX and RX pads, 4. In Betaflight, did you configure the specific UART at which you connected the TBS Crossfire RX? 5. In Betaflight, did you configure the UART port correctly (on MAVLink and 115200)? 6. In TBS Crossfire RX, did you configure the MAVLink TX and RX on the correct output channels correctly?
