This is a drive on a rainy day in Dubai. We always look forward to the winter / weather cooling down as summers can really be hot. We love the rains too though they mostly come with lots of traffic. It took me 3.5 hours to drive from Dubai Healthcare City to Al Nahda. This is usually a 15 to 30 minutes drive on traffic free days. I’ll also be reviewing some food from the hotel. Al Marjan Island is a group of four coral-shaped islands in a man-made archipelago located in Al Jazirah Al Hamra, Ras Al Khaimah, in the Persian Gulf. It’s administered by the Al Marjan Island Company. Ras Al Khaimah is one of the seven emirates in the UAE and has a well-preserved history, rich archaeological heritage and ancient cultural remnants. The exquisite mix of fascinating nature, well preserved history of the emirate and luxurious facilities of the island attracts residents and visitors from all over the world, and has made Ras Al Khaimah one of the UAE’s top emirates that provides different types of tourism. This was started as a tourism enterprise in 2013, the construction development is still ongoing and is expected to host up to 20 thousand people in hotels and other facilities upon completion. It extends a vast 4.5 kilometres into the sea, and covers an area of 2.7 million square meters. It also has several resorts, beaches, tourism destinations and residential projects in the four islands, which makes it one of the United Arab Emirates's top tourism spots. Hellos and welcome/welcome back to my channel. Hope you’re all doing well. This video is about Marjan Island Resort & Spa hotel tour. This is a five-star hotel located in Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, U.A.E. This hotel has seven restaurants and cafes, a luxury spa, beauty clinic/salon, private beach, ball room, meeting rooms, health club with a modern gym, three indoor and outdoor swimming pools and jacuzzi, kids club, water sports, adventures and other recreational activities but I didn’t manage to take videos everywhere. They also provide free WIFI, parking, and lots of other amenities. The staff are nice, friendly and very helpful. It’s also an alcohol-free hotel but they do allow hotel guests to bring their own alcoholic drinks. I basically loved every thing about this resort apart from poor natural light in the room. Please check the room tour out as well. I’d therefore rate them 8.5 out of 10 and I’ll certainly be coming back here soon! Once I do I’ll show you around the remaining places. This is a man-made cascade in a soaring atrium, dotted with diving figures depicting Dubai's pearl fishermen and is not to be mistaken for the Dubai Fountain, located right outside the mall. It represents part of the rooted history of the country and it’s an attraction by itself. It’s also referred to as the Human Waterfall, due to the sculptures of men diving in and one of the most photographed landmarks in Dubai Mall. This is an awesome ride in Dubai metro and we’re now heading to Abu Baker Al Siddique metro station, which is a rapid transit station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in the Deira area of Dubai, UAE. Beyond this station, the metro line goes underground. So, let’s capture the great views before doing so. This area is also close to the airport, and therefor has no high-rise buildings. The Khan Murjan Souk is one of Dubai's more unusual new shopping developments. This underground market is inspired by a 14th century Baghdad meeting place or Khan. There are around 100 small stores that sell a variety of handicrafts and products including calligraphy, antiques, art, furniture, carpets and rugs, jewellery, perfumes, abayas, herbs and spices. Khan Murjan Souk is open throughout the week. Opening times are Saturday to Wednesday 10 am to 10 pm and Thursday and Friday 10am to midnight. Wafi Gourmet is located in the Wafi Mall and is a beautiful food store/ deli with its own restaurant that’s well worth a look. Their food is definitely the highlight, as it’s always fresh and full of flavour. They offer a large selection of food and drinks, with ample variety for Vegetarians as well. They also serve high quality sheesha, Arabic sweets, dry fruits, and many other things, which are top-notch quality. Rising to the third floor of Dubai Mall, the aquarium is among the city's most popular attractions, enjoyed by adults and children alike.
