A short from the heart unscripted description of how I came to work under Equis Financial's umbrella, and the main reasons that will keep me here and allow me to flourish here. Grateful to the Lord for the opportunity!

Today we said farewell to our special dog, Mia. We got her as a puppy in February 2007, when all the kids were young, and they grew up with her. She was 13 1/2 and she's been fading for a while, and today, it was obvious that she was ready to be done. I wrote this song in about 20-30 minutes today and put these pix we took of her with my wife Carrie to it. It's a tear-jerker if you're a dog lover and have been through losing one!

This simple video was inspired while on an Easter Sunday afternoon bike ride...a pretty long one for me...just over 25 miles, up to a picturesque little lake about 12.5 miles north of us in rural Stevens County Washington. I love where I live, and I love Jesus, and the fact that He is alive and well and in my life, and that He died and rose again for my sins and for the sins of the whole world! Hope you enjoy!

This is an arrangement I did for this song back in 2015 for our 4th of July service. I'll never forget how powerfully the congregation sang out this glorious hymn taken right out of the book of Revelation and used in patriotic contexts from the time of the Civil War to the present. Cherished memories, indeed, considering the uncertainty of our times and if we'll ever get to champion songs like this in our churches again. God bless you!
