Pups certainly get weaned fast and mum is pretty brutal at getting her distance! Puppies are now about 5.5 weeks old and thriving, but only with the addition of puppy food. .. Watch the wonder of life and nature, following the growth of newborn puppies, from a sweet, abused dog, abandoned on country land. This is Day 1 of recording, discovering the puppies under a tree, where I suspect they were born the day before. I quickly transferred them to a tent; and have been camping on the land in a van, trying to keep them all safe and healthy until they are old enough to find furever homes for. As I process this video a few weeks later, I am stunned at how tired & thin mother-dog looks; and how helpless & feeble the babies are. So wonderful to watch the evolution of both. Stay tuned!
