Making a Living (1914) ⭐️ Charlie Chaplin | Comedy | USA | Henry Lehrman
A con artist tricks a journalist into getting some money and then applies for a job at his newspaper.
This is the first film starring Chaplin, who wore a large mustache and top hat in this short, in which he also carries a cane. Although Chaplin's famous screen persona, "The Little Tramp" would only appear in his next film, Kid Auto Races at Venice, but his character in this comedy is somewhat similar, having a hat, cane, mustache and baggy pants.
