Making $4000 Custom Pro Scooter Wheels!
In this video, I'll turn a solid alloy bar into a pair of custom wheels. Including all the machining, anodizing, casting the urethane tires and finally testing them out at the skatepark.
Ok, Ok... I won't actually be selling $4000 wheels, but considering the time spent in the workshop, the toolmaking and materials... and waaaay too much time messing around with urethane experiments! (yep, it got messy) the total cost of this project was around that number.
Let me know in the comments if y'all would like to see a video of the R&D work and also making the tire mould and the special tooling.
This video was a ton of fun and I'm already working on another pair of wheels and have plans for something really weird... Please subscribe, hit the bell and let me know what you think in the comments.
Really appreciate it, enjoy the video and... THANK YOU !
