Commissioner Omodt had just finished reading how public comment should not disparage staff, etc, when Commissioner Bradshaw started talking and disparaging Commissioner Williams and a county employee named Joslen (Not sure I spelled that right). Bradshaw brings up the restraining order issue between himself and Williams, which he recently lost his attempt to have the retraining order dismissed. Bradshaw claims that he didn't threaten Williams. He said that her lie is out of the pits of hell. Bradshaw also claims that the county employee Joslen(?) lied under oath and may have been financial motivated. www.thebushnellreport.com

The Kootenai County Republican Central Committee hosted a Kootenai County Legislator Town Hall on 4/27/24. The legislators were asked about what they thought the highlights of the legislative session were. "We all have the opportunity to thrive." Really, then why are certain types of businesses still not allowed to open? "No action alternative would have been catastrophic." I would have to disagree, the best thing government can do is to do nothing. "We protected businesses and got people back to work." There are still business that are not allowed to operate in your stage 2, so that is not true. North Idaho College Trustee Banducci pass out a hand out. He notes that the agenda for this interview has changed for the third time. He says he is expressing his concerns before the candidate is brought in. Banducci's concern is that this candidate who will have a different interview process than the prior two candidates. "If I talked with Brad, I'd ask for my money back." He points out that Greg Mckenzie has questions for the candidates that no one will talk about. "You own it because you broke it. You have arrange it so we couldn't have full participation." He stood up and left. Trustee Wold apologizes for Banducci's behavior. North Idaho Trustee Mckenzie speaks. He states that there was no including of the elected trustees vs the appointed ones. "You guys could have accommodated work schedules to make this a much smoother work process." "I have provided the candidate my questions. I will assume that they will be factored in as if I was here. I expect you to respect me in my absence. I have a day job and multiple responsibilities. Laura repeated what other commenters said, that the fist is a symbol of communism. She stated that the arts commission is very dismissive of the public. They don’t care what the public thinks. Laura said that she thinks that this statue is disrespectful to the people of this area, and to veterans and police. www.thebushnellreport.com

Tony, a local Idaho State Representative, spoke on his family's history with communism during World War Two. He mentioned that communism wants a classless society. He also, mentioned that there have been 100 million deaths from communism. www.thebushnellreport.com

After the new President of North Idaho College spoke, there were questions on his comments on board policy. Trustees McKenzie and Banducci mentioned how hard it is to get an item on the agenda for the board of trustee meetings. Requests being ignored, etc. North Idaho College Lawyer Marc Lyons is asked questions about it. He states that policy was followed. Trustee McKenzie disagrees.
