Driving Across America In a Porsche 911.. Will We Make It??
I drove a stick shift convertible Porsche for 6 hours??! with my Dad on an epic journey across America. Enjoy watching Day 1 of this road trip of a lifetime!
We drove from Lawrence, Kansas to Knoxville, Tennessee on Day 1 (which is a total of 771 miles) and is roughly 11 and a half hours of straight driving time (not including any stops). I drove a total of 6 hours and took the brutal morning shift from 6am to 8am haha. Driving a stick shift is definitely not easy but, I'm starting to get a the hang of it. Follow along as we continue to make our way across the country and don't miss out on Day 2! Coming soon!
DISCLAIMER: In no way am I trying to "show off" or act spoiled in any way. I am incredibly humbled and fortunate for the experiences that I am given and I try to capture/share them in a fun way for others! I am definitely aware that this video could give off those vibes because we are driving a Porsche around. So, I just wanted to make that extra clear for anyone watching. But, you guys know me so (:

WICHITA
My Dad and I are going on a road trip across America in my Grandpa's red convertible Porsche 911!
This video is a bonus video. I originally was planning to just film a few clips as an intro to the main videos of our trip but, here we are.. That's also why there isn't a lot of dialogue/me talking in the video. But, the Porsches speak for themselves. I hope you enjoy this precursor to our incredible trip, I'm super excited to get these next videos out!

Is This The Most Beautiful Beach In France..??
CALANQUE DE PORT-MIOU
You don't want to miss out on these incredible drone shots...
In this video, we hiked to one of the many beautiful calanques in the Marseille/Cassis area. Here's some more information:
"Calanques are essentially inlets that are formed by glaciers. Many times, they are partially submerged in the ocean and are formed out of limestone. These geologic formations are notable for typically having steep sides. The calanques in Marseille and Cassis are the most famous examples of these kinds of beautiful formations, which can also be considered fjords of the Mediterranean variety. Visitors of Marseille will not only be able to enjoy the beaches, deltas, and charming coastal towns, but also the miles of rugged calanques that stretch between Marseille and Cassis. Climbing calanques in Provence France has long been a favorite pastime of residents and tourists alike. The magnificent natural creations stretch for over sixteen miles between Marseille and Cassis and are over two and a half miles wide. You can explore the enchanting Calanques from a variety of points, and hiking is available year round except for in July and August when there is an increased chance of fire from the heat."

A Random French Kid Asked Me to Hang Out..
(sorry for let ) I got a dm on Instagram from a French kid asking me to hang out for the day... We met up and this is what happened:
Here's a quote that I believe sums up this awesome day:
"Find a way to say yes to things. Say yes to invitations to a new country, say yes to meet new friends, say yes to learning a new language, picking up a new sport. Yes is how you get your first job, and your next job, and your spouse, and even your kids. Even if it's a bit edgy, a bit out of your comfort zone, saying yes means that you will do something new, meet someone new, and make a difference in your life. Yes lets you stand out in a crowd, be the optimist, to stay positive, be the one everyone comes to. Yes is what keeps us all young."
-Eric Schmidt
Go make someone smile, go for an adventure, go try something new!
Let me know how it goes! Send me a dm, I'd love to hear about it (:

A Day In The Life at FRENCH PUBLIC SCHOOL
For people who are wondering and want to learn a bit more about school life in France:
"Each public school is different.
Things like rules such as showing your id or the way the "cantine" works or the kind of food that is available can differ quite a lot (the sound between each class is also different for each school).
In some school students are freer and therefore is some other you can have more restriction.
The type of event and class available in high school can change as well.
For example in my high school we could have additional classes during the vacation if we wanted to which is very rare in public school, also we were forced to have an internship during our first year of high school and had an oral presentation (while all of my friends who were from different high school, were already on vacation).
Events like the carnival, the day of the music, chic day, prom night depends on the school (high school & junior high school).
The specialty classes available are also diverse: some can have languages like Chinese or Russian, others might have special classes for elite athletes (mine was specialized in handball but there were also other sports) or specialty like cinema, theatre, performing art, fine arts ... "

Early Morning Drone Adventure In Étretat, France
almost crashed my drone...
While staying in the beautiful coastal town of Etretat, I woke up early for a fun little adventure with my drone. I was mainly overwhelmed by the beauty of the cliffs and landscape but, I tried my best to make an entertaining video of my adventure. Enjoy!
The drone I was flying is the: DJI Spark:
It's a great drone if you're looking to travel and have something that is small and compact. The image quality shoots 1080hp which turns out to look pretty great, a lot better than I had previously imagined. The Battery life is around 16 minutes, which may not be enough for you, It wasn't enough for me so I purchased another battery which I highly recommend doing! Overall

Going to Paris by Myself for the First Time...
I took a 200mph TGV alone to Paris...
Enjoy this semi-informal / mostly adventure video of my ride to Paris from Aix en Provence.
The French TGV is a very fast train (320mph/515kph). It took around 3 hours to get from Aix-en-Provence to Paris with only one stop in Lyon. Although the train is speedy, it is also comfortable and safe. I would recommend taking a trip on a TGV if you ever have the chance. I had a great experience with my trip.

Driving Through a Moroccan Oasis?! | EPISODE 7
MOROCCO
Episode 6 of Cultural Crossings in Morocco.
This is the sixth episode of my documentary which follows my family on our 5-day adventure in Morocco. We started our trip off by waking up in Marrakech, we then drove into the Atlas mountains. We then stopped for a beautiful lookout view and a mint tea. Afterward, we continue to drive into the mountains. After many beautiful views, we stop at a place where many argan products are made! Our next adventure began with some off-roading which led us to a small town where we ate a traditional Moroccan meal, followed by mint tea (:
After our amazing lunch, we set out to explore the ancient city of Ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou. It was a fun adventure to the top of the city which then presented us with 360° panoramic views of the surrounding landscape! After driving in the car for a while, we stopped at an old Kasbah where we got a quick tour/history lesson! Later on, we found a large body of water with a cool abandoned home/building that I explored. We then continued onto the road where we drove through a beautiful oasis. The oasis was full of wheat fields and many people homes. Following the oasis, we drove through a beautiful town where our hotel for the night was located.
I have a lot of footage from our trip so there will be many episodes that will range from 3-5 minutes. I hope to keep them short, interesting, and beautiful. Stay Tuned
