50+ Facts About Space Will Scare and Amaze You
At the center o nearly every galaxy there's a monstrous place, called "Black Hole". The pull of gravity there is so strong that even light can't escape it! This is what makes them so hard to see and pretty active...
And what would happen if a black hole meets a star? Would a star survive such an encounter? The energy released as the black hole eats up stellar material is huge... Moreover, black holes can attract not only stars and planets but also other black holes! They eventually merge and become one - of a much greater mass! Wow! Space is a never-ending journey of discovery!

What If You Lived on Kepler 22-b?
635 light-years from where you are sitting, way out in outer space, lies a planet. The first planet to be discovered inside the habitable zone of a Sun-like star. Its name is Kepler 22-b. When a planet is located within a star's habitable zone, it means that there is a chance that liquid water exists on its surface. And where there's water, there’s also the possibility of life. Human life. What would the weather be like over there?

SIMULATED Journey from EARTH to the END of the UNIVERSE
This journey breaks several laws of physics in order to reach the known limit of the universe, using a spacecraft capable of traveling at any speed.
The distance and speed are approximate, giving us an idea of how fast the spacecraft travels to move through the vast expanses of the universe.
Along the way, an AI will explain some essential elements of the journey, to give us a more complete picture of what we see.

Mission Begins Departure from Lunar Orbit
NASA will begin coverage of the Orion spacecraft performing the first of two maneuvers to exit lunar orbit, called the distant retrograde orbit departure burn, on Dec. 1 at 4:30 p.m. EST (21:30 UTC). The burn is scheduled to occur at 4:53 p.m. EST (21:53 UTC).
Orion launched aboard the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket at 1:47 a.m. EST (06:47 UTC) on Nov. 16 from historic Launch Complex 39B at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. Orion entered a distant retrograde orbit on at 4:52 p.m. EST (21:52 UTC) on Nov. 25, where the spacecraft has been testing systems in a deep space environment.
The Artemis I mission is the first integrated test of NASA’s deep space exploration systems: the Orion spacecraft, the SLS rocket, and Kennedy Space Center ground systems.
