Are Slovak Villagers Welcoming? (Social Experiment) 🇸🇰
Are Slovak villagers welcoming? I went to the most charming remote Slovak village to find the answer to my question. My intentions was to visit village of Vlkolinec which is unique for many reasons. The main one is that the village has wooden houses and for that reason is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage and the other reason is that the village is special for its villagers as much as 30 original villagers still live there and many more visit there as holiday house and city breakaway. Where else would be the best place to find out about the hospitality and history of the Slovak villagers?
I tour the whole village and visit the Dom UNESCO, then went to the pub for local hand crafted beer I also go to the restaurant for traditional food. I visited the local church and went to the farm to have a look at the animals, I also saw the the well which was the only source of drinking water in this village.
This place reminds me of Čičmany in regards of it being a place of history and well preserved folk wood architecture.
This is a documentary that no other content creator has documented in Vlkolínec, in the Ružomberok region of Slovakia with given permission to have secret access inside the locals private property provided with the history and information from this world UNESCO village.

EXCLUSIVE Traditional Slovak Food In UNESCO Village
Dining at restaurant in the Ružomberok region in Slovakia a place called Vlkolínec which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with folk architecture dating from the 14th century. Vlkolínec situated in the centre of Slovakia, is a remarkably intact settlement with the traditional features of a Central European village. It is the region’s most complete group of these kinds of traditional log houses, often found in mountainous areas. This place reminds me of Čičmany in regards of it being a place of history and well preserved folk wood architecture. It is a remarkably well preserved rural medieval settlement featuring wooden architecture typical of hillside and mountain areas. Its layout, defined in part by the hilly terrain of the mountains of Veľká Fatra, features log houses situated on narrow lots with stables, barns and smaller outbuildings in the rear. A canalized stream flows through the centre of the village. Although the settlement has roots in the 10th century, its first records date to the late 14th century. The urban layout can be traced to this era as records indicate five streets in place by 1469. Most of the surviving buildings, however, date from the 19th century. These include 43 nearly intact homesteads that retain a multitude of archaic building elements, the Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary built in 1875, a bell tower built in 1770, and a school. Vlkolínec represents the region’s best preserved and most complex urban unit of original folk architecture consisting of wooden houses and outbuildings, the wooden bell tower and mural buildings of the church and school.
In this episode we make our way straight to the local restaurant to try then food and then we shall tour the village, interact with the locals and find out more about this history here.

Best Traditional Slovak And Czech Food At 17th Century Wooden Restaurant
Dining at a 17th Century Wooden Restaurant called Valašská Koliba Fojtka in a village called Hutisko-Solanec in Czech Republic, near the Slovak border. The first mention of Fojtka, as stated in the register in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, dates back to 1621. Inside the restaurant establishment was really big as soon as I entered I saw that they had sheep on the premises and loads of wooden benches and tables for seating area, there was also a outdoor play ground for children. At this establishment I discovered that they are available for family events, cooperate events, etc. The traditional food I ordered was a Bryndza dumplings with Wallachian bacon and the soup was Wallachian sourdough with smoked meat, sausage and potatoes. This restaurant definitely meet my expectations in regards to the food, service atmosphere everything was great.

How Is Black Man Treated In Czech Restaurant?? Find Out!
What would you do if the food at the restaurant was good but the customer service was not good or didn't meet your expectations? If we are paying for a service in return we should have satisfaction with the customer service provided no matter who attends. I visited this restaurant in Nový Hrozenkov located in Czech Republic Moravia region. I wanted to get traditional Czech food but there was not much food to choose neither nothing in my interest so I decided I would just go for a beer and fried chicken and boiled potatoes which is really basic food but it is a common dish here. The food was good but the service was not up to my standards. I do not expect to pay for a service and to feel like I am not getting my worth in return. When I first walked in the restaurant premises the worker was already sitting outside smoking I walked passed him and he didn't even say hello. I then sat down and I waited for 5 minutes and the didn't even come to my table to ask "what I would you like to order". I then went inside the restaurant because I felt as if I waited long enough and then the waiter came in the restaurant behind me. I asked him for a menu for traditional food. He then gives me a menu and tells me what they have while speaking to me he did not even make eye contact. I went back outside then I decided to go back in to see if there was another menu where they have traditional food and there it was a menu with traditional Czech food. I then went back to my seat then he approaches me and asked "what would you like" in a unpleasant way. He brings the food and does not even say enjoy your meal which I am quite used to when I go restaurants in Czech Republic. After I have the food and everything is finished I go to pay as I leave and say thank you goodbye, in the process he starts speaking in a friendly manner with other customers and to what I heard he hardly said bye when I was leaving. Overall the food was good but I was not pleased with the service.

Searching For Hens And Eggs In Czech Village 🇨🇿
I arrived at a wooden bus stop in Czech Republic searching for hens and home produced eggs in a village in Czech Republic called Choryně. As I walked from the bus stop I saw a Májka in the middle of the village. I really wanted to to just be random and walk around in the village I was thinking I would come across locals but not many people was around. I then entered further in the village in search of wooden houses and to my surprise I finally came across a bunch of hens in a garden. Then I went to the village shop to get a beer and a koláč pie. In the villages you can literally come across any animal it’s quite funny someone even had ducks and there was a horse on the side of the road.

Are There Any Afro Hair Shops In Europe?

Due to not having much access to the right products of my choice I have researched online and discovered a Afro hair shop in Czech Republic in a city called Brno where they specialise in skin and hair care products for Afro and European hair which I found really interested because it’s really rare to come across such shops in places in Czech Republic. They had special traditional soaps from Africa also really good quality brands for hair and skin.

Roma Gypsies Left To Sleep Out In Cold With No Food No Money
In this episode, I visited Brno and I wanted to see it from a different side than the typically touristy one. When I arrived at the main station, I couldn't help but notice the begging women and children around the station, I found out from their talk that they weren't Czechs, and then at night I saw where the repair slept. During my walk through the city, I also came across a street fight. Brno is the second largest city in Czech Republic. It’s known for its diversity in cultures and its modernist buildings, like the restored Villa Tugendhat, completed in 1930 by architect Mies van der Rohe. The medieval Špilberk Castle houses a city museum, gardens and a former prison with vaulted tunnels. The Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul has baroque altars, a 14th-century statue of the Madonna and Child, and city views from its steeple.

In today’s episode I’ll be going on an adventure in a location called Strečno in Slovakia which is known to be a touristic village surrounded by mountains. On the left bank of the Váh river, close to Žilina, you find the Strečno Castle on top of the limestone rock. The plan was to visit a restaurant which stands on the top of a viewpoint. After a long trek up hills and around mountains I finally arrive to a beautiful touristic destination where there was so much things to do such as boat riding and also entertainment for kids, there was also a zoo and much more. In this video I will be eating traditional Slovak food at restaurant Koliba Panoráma next to a beautiful panoramic view of Strečno castle over looking the mountains, great food and atmosphere. Do Czechs REALLY Drink Green Beer? Easter Tradition
In this video I meet up with locals in celebration for a traditional Easter weekend holiday where people gather and socialise and drink green beer which only comes around once in a year in Czech Republic. Zelený čtvrtek (Green Thursday) as it’s known to the Czechs, is the last Thursday before Easter. Thursday commemorates the Washing of the Feet and Last Supper of Jesus Christ with his apostles. It might have also been inspired by the fact that on that day, people were supposed to eat only green vegetables and no meat. I will give this beer a try as its a part of a traditional celebration and it only happens to be available once a year. Inside there was wine and other beers available and traditional alcoholic drinks from the Czech Republic one of the popular one was Slivovice.

Unusual Smelly Baked Cheese In Czech Pub 🇨🇿
In this video I am located in Ostrava is a city in the north-east of the Czech Republic, and the capital of the Moravian-Silesian Region. It has about 285,000 inhabitants. It lies 15 km from the border with Poland, at the confluences of four rivers: Oder, Opava, Ostravice and Lučina. FC Baník Ostrava is a football club from the Silesian part of the city of Ostrava, Czech Republic. Founded in 1922 as SK Slezská Ostrava, Baník has won numerous national and international trophies. In this video I go inside a pub/restaurant called "PIVNICE U RADY" where I was able to get myself nice cold Pilsner Uquell beer from the pipe and Jelinek Slivovice. I ordered Zapékané tvarůžky se slaninou and tvarůžková pomazánka na chlebu s cibulí. Traditional smelly Czech cheese called "tvarůžky" which is Olomoucké tvarůžky, also known as olomoucké syrečky, English: Olomouc cheese, Olomouc curd cheese is a ripened soft cheese made in Loštice, Olomouc Region, Czech Republic. The cheese is very easy to recognize by its strong scent, distinctive pungent taste and yellowish colour. Inside this pub the atmosphere was welcoming there was also a TV inside and art portraits hanging on the wall. This city has nice buildings and architecture I saw a really beautiful church and loads of different food restaurants to get food but most of them was closed.
There was also trams and busses available in the surrounding area, also a nice park with seating area. Ostrava seems to be more of a touristic city with shopping centres and public transportation compared to the other city’s I have visited.
