Indigenous Media Institute (IMI) via through Burntswamp Studios distributes American Indian Airwaves (AIA), a weekly Native American public affairs radio and podcasting program. AIA has been broadcasting on KPFK FM 90.7 Los Angeles, CA since 1973 with several host and co-host over the decades. In addition, AIA is presently an all-volunteer collective.
