The Quran is written in Allah’s own words: The Holy Quran is the only book that may claim to be written in Allah’s words. Through the Holy Prophet, this book depicts a relationship between man and Allah. This Book, as the Book of Allah, has been elevated to the point that no one can assess it. 2. Its Words are wonder: The Quran’s words in the form of verses are in such a form that no one can claim to have constructed them, and this is the tremendous miracle that Allah has announced in the Holy Quran. It is also true that no creature’s brain can match Allah’s intelligence as the all-knowing Creator. 3.The Quran is Concise: The Quran’s subject matter has been described in such a way that it logically explains every relevant topic. Furthermore, unnecessary and irrelevant information has been omitted. There is a recurrence of certain events that have occurred in previous generations. These events have a direct impact on and relationship with the current situation. 4. The Subject has Depth: The Holy Quran’s language is simple, but the words have a lot of depth to them. Every verse has a direct connection to current events and will continue to do so until the day of judgment. Furthermore, each verse contains clear instructions for man’s life. 5. The Holy Quran is a Revolutionary Book: It is an antidote to a life of boredom, sluggishness, weakness, and dishonor. It guides Muslims toward advancement and change. The Quran defines progress as economic and social progress, and it forbids Muslims from remaining slaves to others. The Quran commands them to engage in Jihad in order to free themselves from slavery and bring about a social revolution in the world and spread this righteous religion. 6. There is a parent-child relationship, a neighbor-hood principle, an old-and-young relationship, a ruler-and-ruled relationship, and everything else that happens in man’s existence. 7. Why is the Quran called the living miracle? The only testable living Miracle left for mankind Quran is the living miracle Looking into the ancient history of religions, one comes to know that the prophets and messengers of Allah were blessed with miracles to prove the truth of their respective claims. Notably, all prophets were not given identical miracles. Like, Prophet ‘Musa’ (A.S) was given the staff (a rod), which could turn into a serpent; Prophet ‘Isa’ (A.S) was given the ability to cure the leper and blind, and bring the dead back to life. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was bestowed with the holy Qur’an from Almighty as a miracle. The difference between all other miracles and the miracle of the Qur’an is that the other miracles were for those who witnessed them physically or those which ended with the death of the prophets. And, for the people of these ages, those miracles are only tales, which may be believed or suspected by people, according to their mindset. But the Qur’an, the living miracle, is always available with everyone, who wanted to benefit from it. It is a book from Almighty, which is complete in itself; it claims and brings the proof within itself. Its miracles, even in this world of capsules and molecules, are being unfolded every day. As long as the Sun rises in the East, and sets in the West, the Qur’an will stay as the final miracle of God. Allah Almighty claims the responsibility to safeguard the holy Quran by describing it in the following wording: “Surely, We (Allah Almighty) have revealed this reminder (The Qur’an); and We will surely preserve it Ourself.” It is a great miraicle of Quran that Quran is completely safe till now. #The Reality of Muslim and Non-Muslim #Debate between Muslim and Christian #The Reality of Islam Many proofs exist that Islam is the true religion of God. Among the many proofs of Islam’s truthfulness is that it is the only religion whose message and teachings have been preserved and never tampered with or changed over time. As for Christianity and other religions, we do not have their original Revelation and teachings preserved for our perusal. If you look at Christianity, for instance, since Jesus Christ and the disciples spoke Aramaic, Jesus Christ’s Message and teachings were in this language. Today, we do not have copies of Jesus Christ’s teachings in the language he taught them. We have manuscripts in Koine Greek, which was not Jesus Christ’s language. It was not until 300 years later, in the 4th century, that manuscripts were cherry-picked and compiled into books from various unknown sources and authors. Then these manuscripts were translated again years later into English and other languages spoken today. The same can be said with the Revelation and teachings sent with Prophet Moses and Prophet David PBUT. Their Revelations were never preserved. God did not preserve their Revelations because they were meant for previous nations and not for us today. Islam, on the other hand — its Scripture, the Holy Quran — stands the same today as when it was first revealed 1400 plus years ago, word for word, letter by letter. God taught it to Angel Gabriel, who taught it to the Prophet Muhammad PBUH, who taught it to his companions, who wrote it down in the role of scribes and memorized it letter for letter. Millions of people of every generation have memorized the Holy Quran. Hundreds of thousands of people worldwide have this 600+ page Holy Book memorized by heart. Amongst the many proofs of Islam’s truthfulness is that Islam speaks to the predisposition and innate belief that God has put in the hearts of every human. Take the concept of God, for instance. The idea of God is simple, understandable, and not complex as in other religions. Islam teaches the existence of only One Supreme Being, who is All-Mighty, All-Powerful, All-Knowing, All-Loving, who created the whole universe and everything in it. All other beings are creations of God and not the actual Creator. All the great religious disputes of the past pointed to One God, including Judaism. If there were more than one God, there would be chaos of gods fighting each other for control. If the gods did not fight each other for power and control, that would mean that these gods were dependent on and submissive to each other — in other words, not gods. Among the proofs of Islam’s truthfulness, the biggest one is the miracle of the Holy Quran which will have a chapter dedicated to it. When his death was near, he instructed his children to burn him after his death, crush his bones, and scatter his ashes on a windy day by the sea. After he died, his children did just as he asked. Allah then gathered his ashes together and asked him, “What made you do that?” The man replied, “Fear of you.” And so Allah forgave him (Bukhārī). Our relationship with Allah is characterised primarily by three emotions: fear, love and hope. Fear (khawf) is an integral part of īmān. Allah says, “…So do not fear them, but fear Me if you are (true) believers” (3:175). Allah (subḥānahū wa taʿālā) praises the Prophets: “…They used to race towards the good deeds and invoke us with hope and fear; and they were humbly submissive to us” (21:90). The fear of Allah is unique to other types of fears. In life, you tend to run away from things you fear. For example, anyone who is scared of spiders or rodents will freeze or run upon seeing them. However, fearing Allah (subḥānahū wa taʿālā) is unique and beautiful. It makes you run to Him, and not away from Him. The more you fear Him, the more you turn to Him. A fear of worldly matters is usually accompanied with a dislike of it. However, the fear of Allah is coupled with love and respect for Him, since you are in awe of Him. GOD FEARING |WHAT IS THE GOD FEARING WHO IS THE GOD FEARING THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN IMAN & ISLAM The Difference Between Islam & Eman There was once a wealthy man from the Banū Isrā’īl who had indulged in sin throughout his life. When his death was near, he instructed his children to burn him after his death, crush his bones, and scatter his ashes on a windy day by the sea. After he died, his children did just as he asked. Allah then gathered his ashes together and asked him, “What made you do that?” The man replied, “Fear of you.” And so Allah forgave him (Bukhārī). Our relationship with Allah is characterised primarily by three emotions: fear, love and hope. Fear (khawf) is an integral part of īmān. Allah says, “…So do not fear them, but fear Me if you are (true) believers” (3:175). Allah (subḥānahū wa taʿālā) praises the Prophets: “…They used to race towards the good deeds and invoke us with hope and fear; and they were humbly submissive to us” (21:90). The fear of Allah is unique to other types of fears. In life, you tend to run away from things you fear. For example, anyone who is scared of spiders or rodents will freeze or run upon seeing them. However, fearing Allah (subḥānahū wa taʿālā) is unique and beautiful. It makes you run to Him, and not away from Him. The more you fear Him, the more you turn to Him. A fear of worldly matters is usually accompanied with a dislike of it. However, the fear of Allah is coupled with love and respect for Him, since you are in awe of Him. The many virtues of Surat Al Baqarah The merits of Surah Al Baqarah Secrets of Surah al-Baqarah Benefits of Surah Baqarah There are many benefits of Surah Baqarah some of them are mentioned below: In the house where Surah Baqarah is recited Shaytan will not enter. Abu Hurayrah (RA) said that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Do not turn your houses into graves. Verily, Shaytan does not enter the house where Surah Al-Baqarah is recited” (Tirmidhi) Surah al Baqarah helps to protect the person who recites it against the evil eye, witchcraft, evil whispers, and it also brings immense barakah into one’s time and overall peace in life. Surah Baqarah brings greater reward on The Day of Judgment and adds blessings in this worldly life. In hadith Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “Recite the Quran, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who recite It. Recite the two bright ones, al-Baqarah, and Surah Al ‘Imran, for on the Day of Resurrection they will come as two clouds or two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for those who recite them. Recite Surah al-Baqarah, to take recourse to it is a blessing and to give it up is a cause of grief, and the magicians cannot confront it.” (Muslim) The last verses of Surah al-Baqarah are one of the most memorized verses of Quran among Muslims and it is for a good reason. In hadith Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah al-Baqarah by night that will suffice him” (Bukhari) Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “Indeed Allah wrote in a book two thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth, and He sent down two Ayahs (verses) from it to end Surah al Baqarah with. If they are recited for three nights in a home, no Shaitan (devil) shall come near it.” (Tirmidhi) In conclusion, we should try to recite the Quran in order to get a proper understanding so that we can act upon its wisdom by memorizing it. May Allah enable us all to bring His verses into our hearts and make them a means of illuminating our hearts, our lives, and our graves! Muslims plead to be guided to the straight path at least seventeen times a day while reciting Surat Al-Fatihah (the first chapter of the Qur’an) in the five daily prayers. How many of us have reflected on the nature of this guidance and the path that we are supposed to be upon? we should seek guidance in every matter with Allah first and foremost before turning to others. Secondly, it should humble those of us who are inviting or ‘guiding’ others to Islam to acknowledge and internalize the fact that we have no real power over this matter, and that true guidance is the sole dominion of Allah, the ‘turner of the hearts’. However, that should not make us despair of the work we do, for which our reward is with Allah. But rather it should increase our confidence in inviting others knowing that the result is not dependent on ‘my da`wah’ or speech, which is full of weakness and defects, but is in the hands of Allah Who can instantly change the hearts of the most wicked and tyrannical into the most pure and righteous. God will be the Lord of the Day when all generations of mankind gather together on order to render an account of their conduct, and when each person will be finally rewarded or punished for his deeds. The description of God as Lord of the Day of Judgement following the mention of his benevolence and compassion indicates that we ought to remember another aspect of God as well-namely, that He will judge us all, that He is so absolutely powerful, that on the Day of Judgement no one will have the power either to resist the enforcement of punishments that He decrees or to prevent anyone from receiving the rewards that He decides to confer. Hence, we ought not only to love Him for nourishing and sustaining us and for His compassion and mercy towards us, but should also hold Him in awe because of His justice, and should not forget that our ultimate happiness or misery rests completely with Him.
