This year we decided to do something special for our valentine's day weekend. We went absolutely OFF-THE-GRID at this resort in southern Illinois! Thanks to Timber Ridge Outpost & Cabins, we were able to realize our childhood dream --- living on a treehouse in the middle of the woods. We stayed in White Oak for two nights and once we were inside, it was so stable that we weren't able to tell that we were actually on a tree!

My name is Dee, a girl that is around 5'6 tall and weights about 130 pounds. Right now my weight and mentality have been stable for over two years post-recovery. However, I had once struggled with a pretty severe bulimia from my teen years all the way through my junior year of college (when I was exchanging in Michigan State). Luckily, I found the book Brain over Binge by Kathryn Hansen and relevant research on binge eating disorder during my stay in Michigan, which provided me the tools I desperately needed to gradually recover. I am sharing my story here today with you, a friend I never met but is potentially struggling, so you might find something useful from the information here to get yourself somewhere better and brighter.
