Voice & Audio Artist · Actor | Grad (hons), Herzing Academy of Broadcasting | Jeri welcomes messages & ideas for new songs & stories. | On the radio since high school, worked in several films in Manitoba, & singing since early childhood. Working with vocal coach Tammy Schroeder, & Maestro Yuri Klaz, Jeri has studied music across three octaves from around the world with English, Italian, Latin, Yiddish, & Hebrew lyrics, while writing a few original songs of his own to stir, inspire, & transform. | You might recognize Jeri\\\\\\\'s voice on radio & television across Canada, but if you\\\\\\\'re not Canadian you\\\\\\\'re more likely to hear it on a few Internet videos that tell stories of hope & innovation. | Ranked National Top 3 & World Top 30 in World Spoken Word Charts | Actors\\\\\\\' Training Centre, MB | Actor, Panache Management | Jeri discovered his passion for spoken word art at age 12 when his teacher asked him to share poetry he wrote for a biographical writing assignment. With the guidance of a dedicated arts community of teachers, mentors, & peers, opportunities for refining vocal & story-telling ability both musically & in other forms presented themselves throughout the two decades that followed, starting with a couple of programs at Manitoba Theatre for Young People.
