Are there earthquakes on other planets? PART 1
Are there earthquakes on other planets? There sure are but we don’t call them earthquakes. Instead, “moonquakes” and “marsquakes” are shaking things up in space. @NASAGoddard’s Dr. Jacob Richardson explains more about what otherworldly quakes can teach us not only about the inside of planetary bodies, but also the inside of our own planet.

NASA 2024 Journey To Moon | NASA | Moon
We’re about to unveil the next astronauts to fly around the Moon. Will you join us?
Three NASA Astronauts and one Canadian Space Agency astronaut will spend ten days in space on our upcoming #Artemis II mission, our first in more than 50 years to send humans around the Moon. Artemis II will prepare us for future Artemis missions that will land near the Moon’s South Pole and establish a long-term human presence on the lunar surface, getting us ready to send humanity to Mars.

Big Solar Eclipse Coming Up This Fall | NASA | SOLAR ECLIPSE
There's a big solar eclipse coming up this fall. Make sure you're watching it safely!
On Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, an annular solar eclipse, also known as a "ring of fire" eclipse, will pass over much of North, Central, and South America.
When watching an annular eclipse directly with your eyes, you must look through safe solar viewing glasses ("eclipse glasses") or a safe handheld solar viewer at all times. Eclipse glasses are not regular sunglasses-no matter how dark, sunglasses are not safe for viewing the Sun.
Here's how to tell if your eclipse glasses are safe!

Where Does Space Begin?
Where does space begin? Well, it depends.
There’s no sharp boundary that marks the end of atmosphere and beginning of space. But no matter where you draw the line in the sand — or the air — Earth’s atmosphere is full of all kinds of interesting stuff. That’s why scientists like Doug Rowland are studying its many layers.

Moon Journey In HD
While Apollo placed the first steps on the Moon, Artemis opens the door for humanity to sustainably work and live on another world for the first time. Using the lunar surface as a proving ground for living on Mars, this next chapter in exploration will forever establish our presence in the stars. ✨ We are returning to the Moon – to stay – and this is how we are going! Actress Kelly Marie Tran of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” lent her voice to this project.
