In this video , we are going to see a fragment of space walk made by NASA astronaut outside the international space station. The interesting thing about this space walk is that an astronaut accidentally dropped an anti debris shield that turned into space debris, all of this was documented by the GoPro action camera.
In this scenario, if astronauts were to accidentally lose a shield in space and it happened to have a GoPro 8K camera attached to it, several interesting things could occur:
Loss of Equipment: Losing a shield in space could have serious consequences, especially if it was a vital piece of equipment for a spacecraft or space station. How NASA put Car on the MOON in 1971| First Vehicle on the Moon 🚗
In 1971, NASA put a car, known as the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), on the moon during the Apollo 15 mission. The LRV was used to allow astronauts to explore the lunar surface and cover larger distances. The process of putting the car on the moon involved thorough planning and execution.
The astronauts of Apollo 15, David Scott and Jim Irwin, became the first people to drive on the moon on July 31, 19711. The LRV was deployed and assembled on the moon's surface, specifically on the Hadley-Apennine region. The deployment process involved technicians running deployment tests to ensure everything was functioning properly.
The astronauts drove the LRV for approximately 6 hours on the moon's surface. SpaceX Crew Dragon Returns from Space Station on Demo-1 Mission
The SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft undocks from the International Space Station, after nearly 5 days aboard the orbiting laboratory during the company’s Demo-1 mission for NASA’s Commercial Crew Program and descends to re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere. Just over 5 hours later, the uncrewed spacecraft splashes down in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida and is recovered by SpaceX teams.
The SpaceX Crew Dragon returned from its Demo-1 mission to the International Space Station (ISS). Launched on March 2, 2019, at 07:49:03 UTC, it arrived at the ISS on March 3, 2019, just over 24 hours later. The mission marked a significant milestone for SpaceX, as it demonstrated the Crew Dragon's capabilities in successfully docking with the ISS and returning safely to Earth. The spacecraft remained connected to the space station for about five days before undocking and returning to Earth. The Crew Dragon Demo-1 mission paved the way for subsequent crewed missions, contributing to the development of commercial space travel and NASA's plans for future missions to the ISS and beyond.
Demo-1 was a crucial step in SpaceX's efforts to demonstrate the capabilities and safety of the Crew Dragon spacecraft as part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program. The spacecraft was launched atop a Falcon 9 rocket and successfully docked with the ISS autonomously, showcasing its ability to autonomously rendezvous and dock with the station.

NASA Tests Ways to Crash Land on Mars. 🙂
We’re testing a new way of landing on Mars… by crashing into its surface. The Simplified High Impact Energy Landing Device (SHIELD) is a lander concept being tested at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). It could one day provide a new way for low-cost missions to land on Mars. Rather than rely on parachutes or retrorockets, SHIELD would include a collapsible, accordion-like base to absorb the energy of a landing. A full-size prototype of the base was tested. The prototype was hurled at the ground from the top of a nearly 90-foot-tall (27-meter-tall) drop tower at JPL. A steel plate ensured the impact was even harder than what would be experienced on Mars. The design worked: After crushing against the steel plate at 110 mph (177 kph), several electronic components inside the SHIELD prototype, including a smartphone, survived the impact.
