Twisted Metal is the latest attempt to bring a popular video game to live action and features Anthony Mack as the ‘milkman’ John Doe, a driver that braves the wilds between the walled cities of the near future to make deliveries. The show brings to life many of the iconic characters of the game along with John Doe and his battlewagon Roadkill. Miranda Watts has brought Twister to the fray and Agent Stone tries to patrol the badlands in Outlaw. With hints towards Darkside, Hammerhead, and even Axel and Mr Grimm, season 2 looks to be a barn burner. Let’s see who has been set up.

One of my favorite alternate Earths within the DC Multiverse, has to be the Injustice Earth. The place where Superman, after a horrible tragedy, went a little off the deep end and became a horrific dictator with an iron grip on the world. Standing against him, is of course, Batman. As you would expect. But despite being in opposition, could Batman and Superman actually be more similar than ol’ Bruce Wayne might think? While the Batman of the Injustice universe does defeat the tyrannical Superman, a couple different times actually, the fact that Bats can't give a hard "no" to Wonder Woman while she uses the Lasso of Truth — along with his history of being corrupted by God-like powers on other Earths — shows that Batman might not be so different from the Superman of the Injustice universe after all.

When film fans hear the word ‘reboot’ they are usually filled with fear and anxiety, because historically when Hollywood has rebooted fan favorite franchises, it hasn’t always worked out and they have been universally panned. However, that doesn’t mean all reboots and remakes are duds. In fact, there are some that are not only good, but actually surpass their predecessors. Futurama season 11 episode 2 brings up a question about Fry and Leela's relationship that the show avoided for decades, even though it's a huge one. The on again off again couple stole the hearts of fans all the way back in 2011, and after 10 years of waiting we may have Hulu to thank for un-canceling the beloved show to give us an answer. But the prospects of their potential offspring may not be as high as some want them to be.
