Badshah is back

While Apollo placed the first step on the moon, Artemis opens the door for humanity to sustainably work and live on another world for the first time. Using the lunar surface as a providing ground for living on mars , this next chapter in exploration will forever establish our presence in the stars.

This 4k visualization shows the moon’s phase and libration at hourly intervals throughout 2022 , as viewed form the Southern Hemisphere. Each frame represents one hour . In addition , this visualization show’s the moon’s orbit position, sub-Earth and subsolar points, and distance from the Earth at true scale. Craters near the terminator are lebeled , as are Apollo landing sites, maria , and other albedo futures in sunlight.

From year to year, the moon never seems to change. Craters and other formations appears to be permanent now , but the moon didn’t always look like this .

On Dec. 24, 1968, Apollo 8 astronauts Frank Borman , jim lovell , and Bill Anders became the first humans to orbit the moon , and the first to witness the magnificent signt called “Earthrise.”
