By Sydney Fizzard | October 16, 2021 Pastor Tobias Tissen is a Minister of the Church of God in Steinbach Manitoba. For roughly a year now, he has been at odds with the provincial government over lockdown measures being imposed onto unwilling Manitobans. The governments restrictions were so tight late last year, that they even shut down drive-in church service. From then on, thousands of dollars in tickets have been issued to Pastor Tobias as well as to his church, and he is still being hunted by local authorities. Pastor Tobias has a warrant out for his arrest issued by the Manitoba Justice, which can be acted upon by Winnipeg Police at any moment. Not a pleasant feeling to be deemed wanted by the state, I imagine, but life goes on, and he is trying to making the best of the situation, but that's not all he's faced with. The courts have delayed and delayed and delayed the church's visit to appear before a judge, though currently it is set for October 14, at which point we'll find out about the million dollar fine that could be handed out by the state. The October 14 court date marks the church's third delayed appearance before the court. But why the delays, and should we expect another? Considering the Manitoba government's lack of determination in regards to his warrant, and refusing to arrest him at his church when they knew where he would be, perhaps this is all really just about optics, not health. Lastly I wanted to know, as so many now find their bodily autonomy being infringed upon by governments, employers, and otherwise: what were Pastor Tobias' thoughts in regards to these new vaccine mandates? Marie, Ont., was fired from her job and issued a pair of summonses from police, with the threat of a combined $20,000 in fines, after speaking at a protest that police claim she organized. --- Leah Frost is a nurse in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario who was issued two summons amounting to what could be a $20,000 fine, a sum that would financially cripple the average Canadian. On top of that, she was let go from her job simply for speaking up against the atrocities she saw before her very eyes. Leah is even facing the potential of losing her new job, this time for not taking government-mandated injections. As a nurse, Leah was asked to speak at an event local to Sault Ste. Marie. There, she spoke about the health-care perspective of the pandemic. On her way home, she was given a $10,000 summons. Turns out, this charge wasn't for speaking at the event, it was for her allegedly being an organizer of the previous event — something Leah was shocked to find out, as she says she is not an organizer. The second summons came a week after, yet again for being an organizer. Leah was given the same summons, with the two potential fines reaching $20,000, enough to ruin most Canadians' finances. That's a wild thing to say, but in Saskatchewan that's exactly what's going on. Today, we hear the story of Kelly George Paul, a Regina shop owner who was targeted by local authorities for not wearing a mask. It's not just a mask, however, as Kelly details for us in this interview. His personal medical situation is a prime concern and is what guides his actions in these regards. I recently took a drive from Toronto to Calgary, and along the way I got to interview real Canadians. The type of people who mainstream media would otherwise leave out of the conversation. In this report, I asked them who they would be voting for. Many of the individuals were undecided or otherwise not voting. For those who were, many seemed compelled to vote against something, rather than for it. Perhaps that speaks to the divide in our country as of late, or perhaps that's how our system naturally inclines people to vote— I cannot be sure. Over the past year and a half, protests of all sorts have been seen across the country, from Black Lives Matter to pro-Palestine rallies. But most notably, those who participate in protests that go against government dictum, i.e. pro-freedom and anti-lockdown protests, seem to have been selectively targeted by the government for enforcement. And as Ryan found out recently, by employers too. After attending the Worldwide Freedom Rally in Winnipeg, Manitoba Ryan was contacted by his employer, who requested to know if he had been at the event. Because Ryan is an honest man, he gave an honest answer: he was there, and he was proud of it. This didn't bode well for his former employer HyLife, who promptly took action against him. It started as a two week suspension without pay, and later devolved into Ryan leaving the company that once put food on his table. The difficult situation here is that even though HyLife is able to have policies on workplace health and safety, it most certainly should be applying punishment equally for those who break their rules. Unfortunately, as we heard from Ryan himself, there are many at the company who flout the rules, as long as they know they can get away with it, much like Ryan’s former supervisor who initiated the disciplinary actions against him. Allegedly, this same person was also having birthday parties against company guidance. We reached out to HyLife to get their side of the story, but unfortunately, so far, they've decided not to get back to us. As lockdown restrictions became more heavy-handed in the province of Manitoba, so too did the outcry against them(rebelnews.com/stop_organizing_protests_theyd_have_to_kill_me_says_manitoba_man). As a leader who was outspokenly against the regulations of Premier Brian Pallister, Todd became subject to the political detainment(rebelnews.com/manitoba_premier_brian_pallister_arrests_detentions_gerry_bohemier) and social silencing brought on by the high-level bureaucrats and politicians in his home province. Todd was arrested under a warrant issued by a Manitoba justice for what appears to be a non-arrestable offence. Luckily, his time in custody was not as enduring as we've seen in other provinces, namely Alberta. However, in order to be released he had to sign a set of conditions which practically crippled his media group. The conditions of his release also dictated the terms of his friendships and personal conversations. The stadium will be allowed to open at full capacity, which means there’s potential for a crowd of upwards of 30,000 people, but there’s a catch. Only those who have been fully vaccinated may gain entry — those who have decided not to get the COVID vaccine, or cannot get the vaccine, will presumably be stopped at the door. This brings us to Patrick Allard(rebelnews.com/stop_organizing_protests_theyd_have_to_kill_me_says_manitoba_man). Previously, we covered his arrest after a warrant was issued due to alleged breaches of the Public Health Act. The warrant was in relation to Patrick being a freedom event organizer over previous months. In order to be released, Patrick was made to sign conditions, which brings us to the current situation. On July 21, Patrick made a post about the upcoming CFL game on Facebook. He wrote, “there’s only two roads into the Winnipeg Blue Bombers stadium. I think we can block both with a rather small amount of people on August 5th ahead of their game.” As a follow up remark on Instagram, Patrick alluded to the notion that this could be a “super spreader event” and voiced his concerns for fellow Manitobans attending the game, as well as his concerns that the Bombers team is now seemingly in support of medical segregation. This led to Patrick’s arrest shortly after his posts. A media release from the Winnipeg Police Service stated that this was due to Patrick “failing to comply with condition of release order.” The condition in question being for him not to plan any more gatherings, nor invite anyone to any gatherings, contrary to public health orders. Rebel News Report: https://www.rebelnews.com/manitoba_premier_brian_pallister_arrests_detentions_gerry_bohemier Sydney Fizzard July 11, 2021 Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister continues to target political opponents with arrests and detentions --- Previously a chiropractor, now turned political activist in Manitoba, Dr. Gerry Bohemier was arrested and held in police custody for the crime of protesting the lockdown. Dr. Bohemier was arrested on a warrant issued by a Manitoba justice, even though it was arguably not for an arrestable offence. However, under Premier Brian Pallister this seems not to matter, as he has so far only considered the point of view presented by a small minority of hypochondriacs in the province. Dr. Bohemier was arrested along with four other members of the community, all on the same day. What's worse, though, is that during his arrest, police notified his wife that this would be a quick in-and-out, yet in retrospect this meant nothing. What was supposed to be a quick signing of release conditions turned into an overnight jail stay. Worse still, Dr. Bohemier says that during his detention, guards prevented him from visiting the bathroom, forcing him to turn his cell into a lavatory. As Dr. Bohemier alludes to in our socially distanced interview (due to the conditions of his release), this was not just an arrest but also a form of punitive punishment by Premier Pallister, much like we saw recently with People’s Party leader Maxime Bernier when he spent some time in the province(rebelnews.com/its_not_about_health_its_all_about_political_repression_maxime_bernier_on_covid_enforcement). Throughout Canada, high level bureaucrats are dominating the lives of honest individuals just trying to survive. In Alberta, pastors have been imprisoned just for hosting church services(rebelnews.com/pastor_tim_stephens_released_exclusive_interview). In Nova Scotia, bureaucrats dictate that people not gather because they might share information contrary to what the government is alleging. It's like something straight out of communist China, but it's the kind of thing being used here in Canada by a so-called conservative named Brian Pallister, who is okay with arbitrarily detaining citizens who may disagree with his draconian rule(rebelnews.com/stop_organizing_protests_theyd_have_to_kill_me_says_manitoba_man). Dr. Bohemier’s experiences, along with those of other detained individuals, show just how punitive Pallister has become. And yet the majority of Canadians are letting a minority of hypochondriacs drive us into the most politically divisive times of our lives. Sharon has received multiple $1,296 tickets for breaching the Public Health Act, and has now been ticketed well over $13,000. Her crime? Protesting Premier Brian Pallister’s lockdown measures. If that wasn’t bad enough, on May 28 an announcement was made by the Winnipeg Police Service in regards to six individuals who have been opposed to the lockdowns, including Sharon. Four of these individuals were arrested, all of whom signed the ludicrous conditions of their release, including not to speak to the others who were also issued warrants. Before being able to sign the release conditions, they were held for over twelve hours, some even overnight — all for something that appears to be a non-arrestable offence. All that was required was the signing of the conditions for release, but the Manitoba government chose rather to turn this into a form of punishment, treating the detainees like second-class citizens in a first world country. Some were prevented from using restrooms and forced to convert their own cells into lavatories. Sharon told us that she was prevented from sleeping by guards banging on her door every five minutes, all night long. These prolonged and punitive detainments are the latest scare tactics from Pallister and the health bureaucrats to whom he has given unimaginable authority. The measures being used by the Manitoba government, allegedly to protect citizens from the coronavirus, are more in line with tactics used in China to mitigate political dissidence. At least now I know why Pallister has some of the lowest approval ratings(cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/brian-pallister-lowest-approval-rating-covid-19-1.5588357) of any premier in the country. Recently, six warrants were issued for five local individuals, including Pastor Tobias Tissen of the Church of God, who remains in hiding. More recently, People’s Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier faced the fury of Pallister and got arrested in Manitoba for the same reasons. https://twitter.com/MaximeBernier/sta... The first individual arrested under these draconian measures was Patrick Allard, who has been outspoken with regards to the tactics being used by Pallister in the supposed fight against coronavirus. After signing the conditions of his release, Patrick was able to do a sit-down interview with Rebel News and discuss the situation he had found himself in. Patrick was previously a FightTheFines.com client, but his situation has taken a turn for the worse as Pallister stoops to new lows using what can only be described as Communist China-style tactics with regards to those who disagree with him politically. Even though these tactics are a new low for Canada, they have not hindered Patrick’s spirit. As he said previously with regards to the measures being implemented, "For me to stop... they'd have to kill me.” A bold statement, though as Newton’s third law suggests, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. While Pallister is in power, it seems his attacks on Manitobans will be met with peaceful non-compliance to the end, or at least as long as he continues to listen to only one side of the proverbial aisle. Update: Police continue to hunt down Pastor while threatening his church with potential million dollar fine - If you haven't heard already, currently there is a pastor on the run from the government in Manitoba. They want to put him in jail for the COVID crime of holding church. His name is Pastor Tobias Tissen and since late last year he has been at odds with Premier Brian Pallister and the restrictions that have been placed on Manitobans, especially in regards to his church, the Church of God Restoration. Throughout the pandemic, restrictions on church services have varied wildly. At one point churches were closed all together. Now, churches must force their congregants to wear masks and social distance, something Tobias says violates his religious freedom. Last year Rebel News was on the scene when the RCMP went on a ticketing offensive at the church, and attempted to block the main road to prevent people from going to the church. Recently we interviewed Pastor Tobias at an undisclosed location as there is now a warrant out for his arrest; however, he has told police multiple times when and where to detain him, yet they have chosen not to, the people trying to arrest him have so far avoided doing so likely because it would mean coming to the Church of God where Pastor Tobias holds his service, and the bureaucrats making these decisions don't want the optics of arresting a pastor right out of church, kind of like what we saw with Pastor Artur in Alberta. Over there they chose to grab him on the way to service in hopes of avoiding a spectacle. They also grabbed another Pastor Tim Stephens in front of his crying children and frightened wife. Though the police haven't arrested Tobias yet, things have now escalated in other ways. Earlier this week the church was a target of vandalism. But it's worse than that, if you can believe it: the church could now very well get issued up to a $1-million fine for repeatedly breaking the Public Health Act. This is uncharted territory in Manitoba and appears to be an egregious display of overreach from the government, led by one of the most disliked politicians in the country. As this continues, it seems law enforcement has decided to escalate their tactics with regards to finding him. This week the RCMP and an unmarked vehicle (law enforcement? Low-life health bureaucrats?) attempted to raid his house under the assumption that he would be inside. For hours, there was an unmarked vehicle watching his house from a distance. Then the RCMP showed up and knocked on the door. At that point they decided to take it up a notch, peering in through every window on the grounds, and even texting him to look outside his window. This was all in hopes they could justify their presence at the property. Luckily Pastor Tobias was not there, and thankfully one of his neighbours was able to record this event as it was happening. Unfortunately, some local authorities have teamed up with the low-life health bureaucrats in the area. Recently an officer pulled over the secretary to the church's car. This happened for a “registration check” of the vehicle, yet the cops had simultaneously called the desperate “health officials” so they could issue the secretary a $5,000 ticket in relation to the church hosting their own school graduation. As well as being pulled over by law enforcement, some friends of the pastor were driving along the highway when they were flagged down by people who appeared to be having car troubles or directional issues. When they stopped to see how they could help, the individuals came up to the car and asked for directions, one on either side of the vehicle, peering into the whole car in a way that appeared to Tobias' friends as the strangers were looking to see if Tobias was in the vehicle, too. The desperation of these bureaucrats is at all time heights, using officers of the law to allow these nobodies to issue roadside tickets is an extremely large waste of taxpayer dollars. Those who are supposed to serve and protect us against rapists, murders, and worse, are now being used as pawns by the local nobodies who Premier Brian Pallister has tried giving unconstitutional authority. To exemplify how wasteful this is, let me remind you that Pastor Tobias may be on the run, but he certainly is not hiding from authorities. He has told them multiple times exactly where he is and when he will be there, yet for some reason, authorities want this all under the radar. It seems by any means necessary, they will try and have this arrest made without anyone being able to observe. If they do actually want to arrest him, they know it will have to be at the pastor's Church of God during church services. In the words of Pastor Tobias himself, “They'll have to learn, if you want to get a pastor, you have to get him at the church”.

Yet now, in real time, we are watching the unravelling of our fundamental rights and freedoms, the very glue that bonds us together, and this is all being done under the cheap guise of “public health and safety.” This brings me to Pastor Tobias Tissen, a minister at The Church of God in Steinbach, Manitoba. The situation he has found himself in is truly incredible. As he alludes to here in our exclusive sitdown interview, he is a man of God, a principled man, and one whose family fled to Canada hoping to avoid the very situation he finds himself in today. As we spoke, there was a warrant out for Pastor Tobias's arrest, both for hosting church services and other events. He is part of an unofficial group of five in Manitoba who were all given warrants on the same day, but unlike the other four, who have signed the conditions of their release, Tobias knows he cannot, because it would mean he would be unable to host church services. He does not want to silently allow for his arrest — he does not want to be detained while no one is watching, because he knows the Manitoba government is trying to do this under the radar. That said, Pastor Tobias has been in communication with law enforcement and has told them very clearly when and where he would submit himself to authorities. If they want to arrest this pastor, they will have to do it at the church.

The city continues to deploy Toronto's finest arbitrarily to Queen's Park to guard a single statue, seemingly as a show of force against the protesters that gather there. https://twitter.com/SydFizzard/status/1396132556169433092 Shortly after this incident, the individual decided to get up and leave, instead of being dragged away in handcuffs for simply sitting in the wrong place at the wrong time. I asked the crowd there a few questions about Ontario's ongoing lockdowns to see what their thoughts were on the matter. I wanted to know what they saw as the biggest issue with the measures put in place by Premier Doug Ford. We also discussed whether anti-lockdown protesters were being targeted more harshly than other protests happening in Toronto, and if they'd noticed the trend of late of businesses moving underground as a new means of survival while they struggle to provide for themselves and their families under Premier Ford's draconian measures.

At the beginning of each protest, before the crowd swells up for the march, Toronto police will look for individuals who have a sign, a voice, a Canadian flag, anything that visually marks them as potentially being part of the protest. Though this does not hinder the spirit of the group — many take it graciously, and as part of a duty to their country in the fight against draconian lockdown measures. There was also a small handful of dissenting bystanders on the streets as the crowd marched its way through the city.
